The best way to learn is by learning from mistakes. Especially if it’s your dad teaching you the mistakes as he will never let u forget it

Lovely jubilee, your old man is a diamond geezer he reminds me of me my old man he was a panel beater he retired now , you done well , try impress yourself not your old man to start with when painting once you start to impress yourself you will impress your old man ,listen don’t hear when tells you how to do it make sure you listen to the finer details preparation is key with painting as with most things , but always sand properly with write grade sand papers clean clean clean and watch the paint go on ,even with the dull base watch for a even consistent spread of paint we’re ever your painting once you apply primer and base correctly you there , making um shines easy , good luck bro all the best to you and your old boy 👌
