i love this. it was sad leonidas died and he was 300 vs about 8000 and he was battling the persians. i remember in my class my teacher told me and from the movie THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

be proud. greek as persian had glorious times even if this film doesnt show it all. i hope peoples that are proud to be greek or persian watch some documentary for them own cultural info and then be proud of them country.

I think that the battle in the movie was when the greeks where getting flanked and of the approximately 7,000 greeks. 300 spartens,700 thespians and 400 thebans where lead to defend the flank.

greeks are the best...I'm serbian and my family was displaced by the war.... the first place we moved is greece... when we made to america there was no serbian orthodox church yet so the greeks let us use their orthodox church for religous events including my baptzime... oh and yur foods really good too... can't say anything bad about the greeks

Look him up, not a lot of people know but he was the mastermind of the Defense against the Persian invasion of Greece. He was a mastermind of war and no one really knows how he held off the Persian navy. Watch 'The last stand of the 300" on KZfaq. great documentary, shows alot! The reason the makers didn't make it like it was is because they wanted it dramatic, marketing tech.

it depends.There are a lot of people who love their work.It fills up their life and gives them energy to continue.They fill useful like this.Why to force them to give up?It would be nice to retire at 55 but it's a matter of mathematical equation.It depends how much is the population and of course many other factors.
