300IQ Volleyball Setter - Masahiro Sekita. Masahiro Sekita (関田誠大, Sekita Masahiro, born 20 November 1993) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Tokyo.[1] He currently plays in V.League Division 1 for JTEKT Stings and Japan men's national volleyball team. He used to be the captain of Japan U-21 national team in 2012 Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship[2] and 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship.
Masahiro was the captain of Japan U-21 national team, since 2012 to 2013. Then, he had registered for Japan senior national team for the first time in 2016. In 2021, Masahiro was one of the setters in Japanese roster, which played in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Japanese team advanced to the quarterfinals round in 29 years[4][5] and at the end, he ranked the 7th place in the best setters category.[6]
He transferred to Polish league, PlusLiga, playing for Cuprum Lubin in the 2021-22 season.[7] Then he was back to play in the domestic league for JTEKT Stings.

I'm so hapoy that people finally realize how valuable Sekita is, even if he's not a 'monster' (like Ishikawa, Nishida, Takahashi and Yamamoto). He deserves the attention. Alongside Ishikawa he's one of the driving forces behind Japan. Partially because of all the trust his teammates put into him

1:43 his hybrid serve is insane. Perfectly executed jump floater out of a spike serve toss and these top players can also do top spin serves out of jump floater tosses. Perfect technique

it's a shame that the field they can run isn't larger... some balls could have been recovered if there were no visitors sitting there... kinda stupid and surely frustrating as player...
