He was known as the silver fox and as Gloria Vanderbuilts son the gays were particularly interested. It would be like saying 'we mostly talked about Timothy Chalamet'. I don't think they are hinting at him actually being gay and the reason Devon wanted to talk about him. It was more likely he was simply Devons type.

@@silencemeviolateme6076 idk as a raging homosexual myself, I have met many guys whilst travelling around Europe and whilst living in New York that give off fruity sassy vibes yet are straight and not even a lil bi. Adult Sheldon isn't really a believable character to begin with as he written entirely too sassy for an autistic scientist that doesn't live for drag race. Anderson Cooper however was definitely a grey area back in the day. No pun intended.
