For the spices instead of the pill thing, use an empty tic tac container. It holds more and it's easier to use when cooking.

Another trick I have learned for staying warm is putting a sleeping bag inside another such as a 40 degree Ozark Trail inside another 40 degree. That way you don't have to layer your clothes when sleeping. The 40 degree bags are small and easy to pack out too compared to the larger ones .

I had a field trip recently to camp and no one stayed in their cabins and tents. People went to the bathroom EVERY five minutes. They shined their flashlights in our cabins when they went!

We make the pancake batter the night before & put it into emptied water bottles in the fridge overnight - always, even when not camping; they come out much better, fluffier & more creamy.

They did bring along seasonings. That could allow for different flavors of eggs, or for the eggs to be used in something like the pancake batter.

A lot people bring a cast iron, it can cook over the fire easily and gives the food a camp fire taste. Tent camping you can bring it to, it ain’t that hard.

Joseph Cole Possibly, because the match boxes often get wet or crushed? The Tic Tac container maybe will help keep the matches dry and intact better than a flimsy cardboard box? Perhaps?

I'd honestly feel bad for the person following these directions. If you actually want to go camping try getting a packing list from I dunno, an actual outdoors source ( REI , National Park Services, ANY OUTDOORS RESOURCE)

Camping is SO much fun! If you bring enough warm clothes and mosquitoes spray then it’ll be fine. (Plus if you wear hoodies and pants most of you skin is covered anyway.)

@@sherlxck-221b9 no, they don't, that's the problem. Age appropriate sex ed should be taught from very young. Ignorance is what causes unwanted pregnancies. In states where sex ed is illegal, there are MORE teen pregnancies. And unfortunately that's a lot of states. The most sex education I EVER got in school was in my honors biology class when we reviewed the reproductive system.

Reflective windshield covers? Try reflectix. It's the same thing but comes in rolls of 24"X10" only cost about $10. USD

Sruti Praba It's for cast iron; you wipe off the excess oil, as the video shows, and the remaining oil is left to soak into the pot or pan, which is what keeps it in good, non-stick condition.

Most cast iron skillets you've just gotta wash with hot water. If you use soap to clean, you'll strip the pan of its seasoning & it can also cause rust.

To clean greasy dishes with no soap use warm/hot water and add some wood ashes. Give it a minute to dissolve and you get 100% eco-friendly alkaline cleaning solution. Works like soap and even better. Use a bunch of hard grass to make a disposable cleaning sponge. Tested by hundreds of years of practical use :-) In critical situation ashes properly diluted in water and filtered through cloth+fine sand could be used for hair and body washing. White clay can be used as a hand washing soap.
