I don't have one that cool but one of the alley scenes in Lord of War was filmed near the church I grew up on. You can see the church in the back of a scene with Bridgette Monuahagn.

I haven’t seen all the movies, but out of the ones I have I’d say my favorite is Inception. Christopher Nolan’s take on the world of dreams was just mind blowing and I loved every bit of it. I loved the explanation process, the action, and the funny bits of comedy it had throughout the movie. It was fun, intense, mysterious and so much more.

I think it has a pacing problem a bit in the second act but it's a terrific movie.

I think it's probs the most interesting of the Fincher movies I've seen tbh, even though I prefer the Social Network. It's a lot more nuanced than something like Seven, which whilst being more entertaining is a bit shallow in comparison to Zodiac.

Django took the title. Nothing else. Reservoir Dogs is an unofficial remake. Tarantino has never acknowledged it.

I watched Mank again for the second time a couple of days ago. I had a similar opinion on it as Sean in the first viewing, but I enjoyed it a lot more the second time. I recommend rewatches before the Oscars.

I’ve actually been wanting to rewatch Mank. I thought it was just fine and like a 6/10 the first time but I was also super tired and not completely focused so I think I owe it a rewatch to see if I like it better. Will def do that before the Oscars

@@maxscheidler I still haven't gotten to Harry Potter or Lord of the Rongs so don't feel too bad. It's been hyped up to Star Wars level at this points but it works like the Matrix or The Avengers does to me: true quality action flick and smarter, better than it should be screenplay and technique. I personally connect with The Prestige a bit more but it's probably the best Chriatopher Nolan movie. Adjust your expectations but you are in for a treat one way or another.

wow....this is a cool project....off the top of my head while this vid plays I have to say Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Pulp Fiction and JAckie Brown are my favorite Tarantino films. SE&EN is one of my top ten American films and ZODIAC is awesome. Nolan? The Prestige might be my favorite Nolan film. Gotta think how I rant them all.....got nothing else to do.

@@robertmarginean164 ye I can respect that, I love the cast and the overall gritty theme of the movie but to me it doesn’t feel like an as complete story as it should be and the twist was lazy in my opinion. However I was entertained for the full 3 hours so I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it.

@@aryankaushik93 for me, Memento is a great thriller with an even better concept, but it's that low because it has so little rewatchability. After the first 2 viewings, I was honestly never in the mood to watch this movie, and every time I do watch it, I like it a little bit less

Tenet is criminally low one of the most underrated epics of our time if people just realised that and got other the sound editing. The plot is so fascinating in the fact that at the start we are presented with a concept that have a never seen before and b never experienced or understand it but as the movie evolves we gain an unprecedented understanding of its concept through the incredible acting hats off to Pattinson and Washington. Then by the end that fantastic final sequence we are left understanding how and what exactly is happening then we can go back to the start of the film understanding the process and enjoy the visually groundbreaking effects of inversion. The score as well lastly mentioned is incredible it literally feels like inversion, posterity, one of the best scores ever! Furthermore the concept itself when do we ever get a movie where it questions the audience to actually think seems to only be Nolan at the moment

Could not have put it better myself. This is a movie which needs to be watched multiple times as I started to appreciate and understand much more after watching it 2 to 3 times. 10 years down the line, this movie will be considered a classic and people would be wondering why they did not watch it in the theatres.

Could you start putting the year the that the movies came out when you show the poster and name of each movie? For example: The social network (2010). When there are movies I haven’t heard about it helps to know if it was the first movie the director ever made, or a movie that’s so recent that I haven’t seen it yet.

I think the age divide here is the biggest reason for difference in many of these picks but here it goes.....1. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - I am pretty sure this is mostly due to my age and the impact the Manson murders had on culture and also being transported to a time period in a way that conjured so many vivid memories. Yes, I loved hanging out with those two dudes for sure. Sound track was great. 2. Pulp Fiction - this was the biggest american film game changer on the list. I watched its impact on people around me who were not as deeply involved in flim as I was. 3. SE7EN - like you said, seems generic and that was how I felt when it came out. The dude who fucked up Alien makes a generic serial killer film, yup NO.....I was mesmerized by everything about it when I first saw it. I can watch this film on a loop. 4. ZODIAC - I think this is a beautiful film 5. FIGHT CLUB - I find people a few years younger than myself are more in love with this film. I love it as its fifth on the list. Impactful. 6. Inception - based on how I felt when I watched it in the theatre when I realized there were 3 third acts happening silmultaneously I remembered why I loved film 7. Jackie Brown - more mature Tarantino and the sound track is awesome 8. Kill Bill Vol. 2 - homage to sergio and peckinpah 9. Inglorious basterds - beautifully shot and Chrstoph walz and some incredible scenes. 10. The Social Network - Aaron Sorkin, Aaron Sorkin 11. The Prestige 12. The Dark Knight 13 Django 14.
