Wonderful musical gem that talks about meditation and the importance of being in the present moment in order to find happiness. I love 311 since the 90's!

This song hits home even more today than when it was released.

The drums in this song are absolutely brilliant. A lot of times, bands have one dimensional drums to keep time. But the drummer in this song carries it and makes the instrument part of the story being told instead of just being a metronome. The way he melds them with the vocals and how he transitions the song into its different parts - just perfection. This song would not be what it is without the drummer’s talents. Can’t get over how good they sound.

I’m almost 29 and back in my teens to when I 24-25 I cut ties with all my friends. Something inside of me changed one night, anyway me and this one friend absolutely loved 311. Went to about 6 concerts together, got plastered on nights we weren’t working following day listening to 311 and having fun. I’m a different person now but something about this song just brings back all these old feelings. I’ll also add that this album is the one we never listened to because I had cut ties and it’s weird this particular song gets me. (Why am I commenting my life on KZfaq 🤦‍♂️)

This song is beautiful all around. Chad’s work at the end, and the general spaciness of the last chorus are perfect.

311. I absolutely burned this album into my head for a month straight when it came out (I think best since Transistor and Soundsystem), and then took a break from 311. This past weekend, something really terrible happened in my life, and none of my other favorite bands (Tool, Bob, LZ, The Shins, etc.) ever come close to 311 and getting me through the tough times, but also making the best times better. Love y’all for life.

The bass tone is absolutely beautiful on this one 311. We need another song or 2 with that tone. Or is it a 9 syring guitar? Whatever it is, play with it more. Its a great sound. I can hear a #1 song with it already.

I love 311 and have been listening to them since I was a kid in the 90s learning to play bass playing along with P-Nut. This song is great. I’ve been listening to it on repeat for hours. The solo is so smooth and soulful that it brings me to tears. All love and vibes for 311.
