I dip my fingertip into the paint and rub it in the lines just like that. Quick and easy and wipe with the alcohol. I love the way this came out!

Hi Michelle! Love your channel!! This tray is beautiful. You asked about anyone's method for painting in an etching and what I do is almost what you did in this video. I use a paintbrush and "scrub" the paint into the etch, squeegee it off (bought a cheap squeegee!) let it sit for 5 or 10 mins to dry, then take a damp paper towel and simply wipe the excess off. Easy! Depending on the piece, I often top coat it after. The top coat "brightens" the paint and I love the way it looks. Again, this tray is beautiful. I haven't yet ordered from Molds N Shapes but need to do so! Thank you for your videos!

It's gorgeous! I use a water-based acrylic markers. They have metallic ones most of us use the most but I do have some clored ones. Hope this helps. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness

I love it. BTW you can get an oval plastic bowl at the dollar tree in party supplies. I plan yo go get one. At least they had them a couple of weeks ago when I went there.

I just brush black nail polish and wipe it off. Turned out great. I prefer the idea of drilling a hole and screwing in the handles. I'm not sure I can trust the handles being set in a thin layer of resin.

Love how this turned out beautiful some ideas for the lines what about a paint pen for the lines or pre paint the lines before you resin as for a bowl to make this into a bowl go look at salvation Army ya never know they may have one if I see one I will get it for you

I think there are plastic oval bowls at Dollar Tree that you might be able to use to make a bowl with this mold.

I just did this and made it into a bowl by using painters tape to pull side and ends up into a low shaped bowl.

Question??? Resin is food safe after it's fully cured correct? Or does the resin have to say food safe on the label?

No it needs to be a food safe resin with no dyes added in to be food safe. I have a video coming in two days explaining all the different resins and when or how to use them, stay tuned!
