Herbert was playing with broken ribs and still made it to the playoffs in a respectable season but very terrible ending. Herbert is a legit top 5 QB, would’ve been higher had he not been hurt

When you consider everything he was dealing with last season, he really had better year than he should have had. Same amount of passing TDs as Tua, only two more picks, 2nd in overall passing yards. Herbert's a baller through and through!

His worst year ☝️by far of the three , brokendown wr's,and broken ribs ,..throw in a side of no probowl LT,..abysmal defensive coaching/play at critical times..and he still put up 4800 25-10 .playoffs. Ppl blaming Herbert for that loss,after they got that big lead they went real vanilla and told him not to make any mistakes.He didn't fumble,didn't throw a pick.He had two long drives that should of got pts second half,but kicker missed a chippy from the forty.He didn't give up four straight tds.😢Coach OBVIOUSLY to blame.

Charger fan here. I was at the home games for dolphins, broncos, jaguars, and titans. The two throws he made against the titans to Mike W to set up the GW FG were unreal. What a shame we lost in the WC to the Jaguars in that fashion I really thought we would’ve beat the chiefs in the divisional round. The only thing holding Herbert back is post-season success. What makes it worse is that two guys from his draft class (Burrow and Hurts) have already reached the super bowl while Herbert has yet to get a playoff win. It's unfair but that's the reality of things. Dude has all the talent and toughness you could want from your franchise QB but he still needs to prove he can get it done when it matters.
