Sorry I have been MIA things have been pretty busy physically, mentally & Emotionally. As we all know right now we are going through the COVID 19 pandemic… and that’s why I am pushing myself to start documenting this pregnancy again. Things are very different… and I know I’ll look back on this and be glad I forced myself to get ready and film and edit.

I’m due July 8th! I’ve been following your videos from your first pregnancy religiously and this one just popped up and I’m so grateful to be able to experience pregnancy along with you especially during this quarantine. Also, your energy is completely different from that first pregnancy to now. You have clearly mellowed and matured in the time in between. I’m a ftm so it’s funny to think that’ll probably happen to me too. Wishing you the best! I’ll be following!

I haven’t personally had a c-section before but I *am* a major birth nerd, and when I was preparing for both of my births, I DEVOURED the birth stories on The VBAC Link Podcast because I felt like they gave so much good insight on how their c-sections went down, what to expect, how to advocate for yourself, what the evidence and science is, etc. I figured it would be a good part of my home-education to prepare myself for all outcomes, but really it became a great resource on learning about ways to avoid a section (in certain circumstances) as well. Highly recommend!

My doctor tried to push me into induction at 41 weeks and I held my ground (and she threw a fit and stormed out of the office but that's another story). I ended up going into labor all on my own on 41+1 and had my son 41+2 - the same days I would have been in the hospital going through days of induction. I barely dilated or effaced and had no major BH/contractions until the morning of 41+1. You'll go into labor on your own eventually because NATURE, don't let anyone push you into thinking otherwise. I would wait until at least 41 weeks and give yourself an extra day or two past that before you have a c-section! Believe your own body over all else. Good luck.

Our bodies “fail” us all the time. Why do you think they won’t fail to go into labor? or go into labor too early for whatever reason outside our control? If babies come with they are ready why do we have premie babies and stillbirths from women going too far past their due date? Inductions are necessary and save lives. Nature doesn’t always win.

astralweeks23 Giving blanket advice like that - if a baby results in an IUFD (if you don’t know what that is, you probably should y give birth advice), who has to live with that? I’m an RN in the L&D area. Natural birth is usually better, but each mom has to decide for herself and her baby, as anything can happen and she is the one who has to make the decisions that affect the life of her child.

Hi!!! I had my baby one month ago tomorrow. I'm so happy to see an updated video... I followed you with Cole.. as I watch this video I finally said I have to comment and say I am praying for you. I totally understand how you are feeling with the covid and being mean to hubby.... I had a girl April 13th and I had terrible itchiness and could hardly move... I complained every single day. Eva Faith was my 4th and my last. After watching you today I was like may be 5? Went to the sink and already knew.. no we are totally done. I even went downstairs and told hubs I wanted another to play a joke. Lol. I was able to have someone in the room with me... all my babies come early like between 34 and 37 weeks. Eva was 36+6, 6 lbs 14 ounces...but I was literally there 24 hrs by the hr she was born. Usually I am there at least 48 hrs..vaginal deliveries. I am so glad you get to stay home soon.... for your peace of mind! I'd be going crazy in that profession. I really want to say thank you for your honesty, perspective, and updates. I am praying for you and thinking about you!! Cant wait to see that little girl in your guys arms. Try not to panic... my best advise is expand your happy place, your sanctuary.... idk if that is possible with covid... actually its not... I mean hubs did the shopping but I'd still cry over notmknowing if I'd be separated from baby. All I got was questions of my symptoms, not an actual test..that was a month ago though. Anyway hang in there!! Wont be long now... tear jerker movies helped my mood... helped me let it out too... God bless, itll be ok!

I've been binge watching your first pregnancy videos! Glad to see you! 😁♥️ For the BV it's really important not to wash with soap down there unless it's pH neutral. To prevent it from happening there is something called multigyn actigel (maybe not in the US though, I'm from Europe). It really helped me prevent BV by keeping the right pH levels in the past and get around having to take antibiotics. 🎊🙈

Im in a similar position to you. In the Uk pregnant women over 28 weeks were advised to be non patient facing as they don’t know the covid risks. This was great as we could get paid and do telemed. Ive been lucky to be able to work from home and take annual leave to go off early. Hope everything goes well with you. Here one birth partner is allowed into the c section regardless and mums are allowed to stay with the baby. You are a rockstar to be doing all you are doing.

Hi! I’m watching you from Warsaw, Poland at 32+4 weeks pregnant with my 1st. I’ve been watching your 1st pregnancy videos and only just realised you are pregnant again and we’re just a few days apart! With all that covid crazyness going on, I wasn’t able to do all the things I wished I would when pregnant. Stuff like a taking a babymoon with my husband, spending some time with my parents, or going to a pregnancy water aerobics, yoga class, experiencing a rebozo scarf massage etc. Still, I can’t help but be excited for all the changes happening. Despite all of the disappointment, I’m really enjoying this time and I actually find that I LIKE being pregnant. I hope you get to enjoy your last few weeks too and what’s more, that you get to experience a vaginal labour. I’m hoping for one too🤞🏼Pls, keep recordig and share what’s happening. I’m looking forward to your videos.

gingy pants We are having a BOY! 🥰 For the first 12 weeks I was actually convinced it would be a girl. Guess my intuition isn’t all that accurate 😂 And yesss, thank goodness he is head down. He keeps pushing his butt out on the right side just over my belly button, so I know he stays in pretty much the same position and hasn’t flipped. His weight seems to be rather average for the gestational age, so it doesn’t seem like I might run into the danger of a having to have a c-section because of his size. There are many very big babies these days. Over here they suggest that you have a csection if the baby is over 4,5 kg (9lb14oz?). Dis you have a scan recently? Do you know the approximete weight of your baby at this stage of your pregnancy?

My husband reminded me one day in a meltdown about knowing I couldn’t work but trying and wanting to for the provider role I’m used to and he said “ growing a baby is full time job.” Some days I don’t feel it bc I’m ok but my ass is kicked. I hope thats helpful to remember. Be where you are and that’s ok!

On my first vbac my baby girl was 8 pounds exactly. So a big baby for my first time down there. I am 32 weeks with my 3rd baby and hes measuring 4 pounds 8 ounces again so I’m thinking he will be a bit bigger than my second. Ahhh! Yes those fruit tums are the best ones. The heart burn really sucks.

First pregnancy with COVID is a struggle. Sad my Fiancé can’t come to appointments. I’m scared at my home cuz I’m in a full house & I’m always scared someone is gonna expose me to COVID. Can’t go shopping like regular women. My entire Registry is on amazon.

I am watching your first pregnancy weekly videos as I progress through my first pregnancy. It’s interesting to come to this video and see how your demeanor has changed (maybe it’s the stress of the current environment, mind you!). I’m curious from other moms, when did you start feeling/acting like a “mom?” I’m only 13 weeks, so haven’t experienced several key milestones (feeling baby move, etc.) but I certainly don’t feel like a mom yet.

hahah thats so funny you say that! I can def. see it has changed but thats obvious that it would ... my first pregnancy I literally had nothing to worry about besides my pregnancy and what was going on in my body lol ... What type of changes do you notice? Is it a bad thing

I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and am also stressed about this pandemic. What are your thoughts about having visitors when coming home from the hospital? I am a first time mom and this will be the first grand baby in the family so everyone is super excited but I’m worried about exposure. My mother in law especially hasn’t been taking social isolation seriously through this time. She goes out and visits a lot of her friends and isn’t distancing herself or wearing a mask. Everyone else in our immediate family has been strictly self quarantining.
@gingypants
@gingypants 4 жыл бұрын
See that is a VERY difficult thing to answer Bc you have no idea where people are going and how good their hygiene is while out and coming home. Technically you unfortunately should not have visitors and I know that is hard. But I’m in the same boat with immediate family... we are 7wks our so idk how things will change... but I would tell everyone if they want to see the baby they need to strictly isolate for the next 2weeks and if you allow them over supervise them hand washing hands and arms, have them wear a face mask and make sure to come over right out of the shower in new fresh clothing. No kisses, no putting their face close to the baby and no hugging or getting close to you or your husband... I know it sounds insane but I would talk to your doctor and see what their thoughts are. I really don’t know how we will handle it... it’s just so unknown how it affects the baby and all. Like there are positive moms that are quarantined from their newborns for 14 days ... so think about that thought .. would you hurt more if that were you or keeping friends and family away Idk if this even makes sense or I’m rambling but ... 🤷🏼‍♀️again just taking one day at a time when

Chia Moua same with my mother in law. She has always taken the virus lightly. My in-laws are visiting in 1 week and have told my husband they want to go to the zoo, the restaurant, downtown (Nashville) where there are bars. He told them anyone wants to go can go but we are not going. Makes me kind of nervous. I’m 32 weeks now.

Best of luck with everything! My experience and with talking with women who have had their baby measured close to delivery is that those numbers CAN be way off! Like baby "measured" at 9.5 lbs in the womb and came out a little over 7. So take what they say with a grain of salt and don't worry too much if she's too big

31 weeks pregnant, suffering from yeast as well. Nothing really helped for a while, really bad irritation. Over the counter did not help very much for me. PH balancing feminen helped a lot. And placing lots of coconut oil sealed sensetive skin from being irritated. That took away 90 percent of an issue... Suffered for over two months with this. Probiotics definitely helped as well. You can also try KimChi. As well. I tried to look for different bacteria type of things. But definitely kefir. Also I noticed the days I ate more sugar worsened situation the next day enormously. Good luck. I hear you. This was the worst pregnancy symptom for me so far.

Yesss the sugar thing was a problem!! And my mid wife suggested the kimchi(but I’m not a fan) also kombatcha or however you spell it. So coconut oil on the putter area helped with the itching?? Good to know for the future... Did you ask your dr to prescribe the 3day cream I used? That helped me ! And it’s pregnancy safe

@@gingypants my doctor told me to use over the counter stuff. Like canesten. But irritation got so bad that even that topical cream was burning and hurting. As I think I had a lot of damaged skin. ( I stopped also using all of the soaps I used) I read somewhere about coconut oil, that it has untifungal properties. So I started to do it 3 times per day. After a wash with ph balancing feminen wash. I did not believe it, But at some point I was desperate enough to try anything. It cleared and healed everything in a few days. I could not believe it. It was so much suffering and discomfort. ( I was scared to use medication, as prepregnancy after I would use over the counter stuff for it, it would bring back worse infection in a few weeks, as bacteria or east would grow back, I would have even more discharge and worse irritation second time around. so I was hoping my body would take care of it on its own. But the side effects and irritation just got really bad this time) Now I do cocunut oil once a day or even once in two days if I forget. All of the external irritation is gone. ( I did use it externally, lots of it over the night especially, on the delicate skin) Sorry it feel like too much information. But I just got through it...and I know how uncomfortable it feels. Someone told me to use baking soda for washing and even internally.( That is what ppl used in Russia back in a day, when there was no medicine for it) .but that was a bit freaky.. so I decided coconut oil externally was somehow more comfortable option... Lol 😂 , I did look in to kombatcha drink too. I chose Russian version of it , it is called Kvass. :)just more used to the taste of it. But that may have a bit more sugar in it. Anyways it is all much better now... Hope it works out for you as well. I could not emagine going to work with this. I was lucky to stay home for last few weeks.

@@gingypants yah.. sometimes I have spotting in there even I can see it like little bloody veins in it, sometimes it is pinkish.. it has been happening from the beginning pretty much, sometimes every other week for few days and then it goes away., I freaked out.. but my doctor did not care about it. And I talked friends a lot of them had mild spotting through some of their pregnancies. With one child and not with the other. My ultrasounds are ok for now. I am on 33 week. I just think it is from all the irritation, especilally on the days I am very active. DCT is not concerned with it at all so far.
