90% of the time when I get a new personal best on the DRL sim, I make that sound with the drone as it goes in the basket lol

I know I was just going to say that. I see a lot of videos and it seems almost impossible to know where to go. I wish somebody would explain it. Maybe it color or shape has a meaning.

Its racing and they are good. So they can remember the track and already be a curve or more forward inside their mind.

I wanna sey that to but mostly they train on simulators so they know the track before they are there but stil i would get lost😆 and you must to have good gear otherwise youre vid stream will crap out

Jann Pe yes they use FPV repeaters with a proprietary system as well.

@@emanuelefreni6414 Think of it like the diversity receiver in your goggles. Except there are way more than 2 receivers and they are spread all over the track and a wire is run to each reciever and you just plug your fatsharks into the video out of your channel.

@@evolicious gonna be honest, I did not know that. last air race I remember hearing about was an annual thing a bushplane club does in the rockies, and that's more of an endurance and adaptation thing than anything else: loooooots of landing and taking off from tiny places over the course of a few hours.

Scott Schneider simulator with radio and run the most difficult course until you get a time your satisfied with.

They were told about the track before hand and studied it on a simulator or right there before the competition.

I just think is hard to follow the racing, why do they make the tracks so complicated and convoluted? make a simpler tracker and slower drones, something the expectator can follow a little bit easier

Because they are not 20km away, lol. 5.8 GHz at 500 meters is ideal and best for low latecny and crystal clear picture at 60hz/60fps, but the average radio transceivers on these things can easily support 1080p 60hz signals at around 10-17km The DJI FPV drone can transmit 4k 60fps at around 6-10km (almost 5x the data), just for comparison.
