Today Rosoboronexport demonstrates a powerful remote-controlled weapon station - named 32V01. The remote-controlled weapon station is armed with a 30 mm gun, a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun and smoke grenades on each side.
The RWS can be installed on any combat vehicle, tracked or wheeled. It can engage all types of targets including armoured materiel, due to a fully automatic stabilized gun and modern fire control system.

This looks pretty clever. I bet you could drop this into a prepared bunker with the proper ring and external generator to have a prepared fighting position. Or drive the armored truck into a prepared, reinforced fighting position.

@@trololoev humvees are being phased out anyway. They had a 7.62 or 50 cal version. But not 30mm

Why a hand controller? ….why not make a helmet with head movement tracking? I can imagine the intended roles for this would require fast and precise targeting.

@master mariner Он не крутит головой на 360*. Не нужно сравнивать вертолет и бронемашину, это разная техника и особенности управления оружием на них тоже разные.

@master mariner Ситуация. Ты едешь в конвое, по вам обстрел сбоку, дорога петляет и ты вполне можешь оказаться к противнику задом в том числе и по причине того, что машина будет разворачиваться. А тебе нужно крутить головой назад. Ерунда это всё. Если нигде в мире подобное не реализовали, значит это не имеет перспективы и целесообразности. У меня всё!
