Have just been diagnosed (at age 73) with dementia. Symptoms are currently mild and cognitively recoverable at least for now. Have scheduled a neuropsychological at Mayo Clinic to take place in August. My question is this: is the prognosis changed at all when patient is highly educated? Big vocabularian?
