My buddy Jeff and I headed into the wilderness to do some winter hot tent camping. Temperatures dropped to -33F. Kept the wood stove going all night and stayed quite warm. #camping #offgrid #outdoors

I’m 65 and just drove 2100 miles from California out to a little cabin on an island in northern Minnesota. It was a 1/2 mile walk across the bay to get here. I’m not working quite as hard at it as Kyle but even an old fart like me can do stuff if he’s stubborn enough!!! I’m planning on doing some ice fishing once I get settled in. Have a good one buddy!

Great camp out like the video!! It's been since 2019 just before lock downs for me same drill but we mixed in some fishing on Pine Lake, MN . No tent stove but not -33F we were more in the zero F range each night. Keep putting content like this! Us Minnesota guys like it and live it!! Take care!!

Proof you don't have to spend a fortune to have a good time! Trekking through the snow would be the toughest part for me with my MS. Your homemade wood stove needs a similar companion, a portable potty for relieving yourself after eating. Looked like you had everything planned out just perfect for your trip. Good time! Good video! Thanks for sharing the experience with us!
