Based on what my friend went through, I can imagine why he was tormented. When you become a certain degree of Mason, you must take an oath that includes a curse should you ever leave the organization or report on anything evil they do ( they don't alert you to that up front though). They make you promise "see no evil, tell no evil" This is to protect other Masonic members from being exposed for any evil they do. Demonic entities attach themselves to a person via these oaths and can torment the person taking the oath or even the bloodline of that person.

I also have a story to share about a tormented freemason ( or at least tormented until the demonic entity attached to him through freemasonry was removed via Jesus).
