Aside from the beeps from moving container cranes or a truck honking the horn, in the background, where this is filmed is @21:35 you see Hoek van (Hook of) Holland and their beach. This is filmed on almost the very end of Maasvlakte II where it meets up with part 1 and since it's man made islands, the whole is sealed with high dunes. On Google maps you should search for "Snackbar Balkon van Europa" on Google maps, I used to go there sometimes, to smoke a joint and just chill a bit, also looking at vessels passing by. Living very close (Hellevoetsluis) with the port stretching for like 50km on the horizon made me want to work in transportation and then especially cargo by vessel> I did mainly inland bargers and feeders. It takes a lot of experience to handle everything right and I liked that a lot as well. Also liked my job at P&O Ferries, nearby too., but while I worked in that sector of planning/shipping agent etc, I now do something totally different and while passing the port daily since I go to the direction of Rotterdam 999 out of a 1000 times, I now do feel the urge to just go back , cause i know I love to do that more. Especially working as an agent, is very irregular hours in the non office hours but managable depinging on family situation (like alarms and calls wake not only me) but it's just so diverse, from airline tickets and all other hotel/transit stuff for crewchanges, getting like 50k in Dollars for the captain, because in Rotterdam, banks give out newly printed (I don't assume printed here, but shipped form the US) dollars instead of crumbled stacks they get in other places apparently. It does give a special feel knowing you hold that much and with every recount at the bank to double check, same as on board later on, while I know nothing is missing I sometimes hoped one of them just took a 1000 and then tell they come short. What do I prove, it's in a sealed bag, but the seal had no stamp, just vacuum and compact. Anyway, I'm using speed now, kind of going from this to that...rambling But I had a good time!
