Yes! In France, we call it "round baller" (perhaps in other countries too ?). Very common where I live too.

'Heuballen' in Germany. Often wrapped in plastic foil to protect the hay from the elements. 👍

Hello Aki! The rolls you saw in the field, next to the road, are made of hay by the machine that mows it. These rolls are saved to be fed to livestock during the winter. Here, in Portugal, it is very common to see it in the fields at harvest time. Best wishes for a happy Sunday and thank you for the beautiful video!

You wouldn't have to worry about rabies in Italy - even from wild dogs. The last rabies case was in 2011

LOL I really didn'd expect you to not know hay bales. Farmers cut the grass, then let it dry on the field and they store compressed in this cylinders (the shape is becouse of the way it is picked up and compressed in a machine that rotates). These are then used to feed cows and other animals year round.

Pasta with seafood is the best, and it is different depending on where you are by the sea in Italy. It is always good. My favourite pasta I had in Puglia, it was fresh homemade and with naturally grown aubergine and some pecorino cheese. But any seafood pasta is also the best.

Hi Aki! I'm from south of Italy and I just LOVE One Piece. And also my fiends do. Lot of Italians are "nerds", we love videogames, comics, manga, anime, board games. Every year in Italy there is Lucca Comics, that is the biggest comic fair in Europe and the second in the world, right after Japan! 😄 Ps. That washing machine was strange for me too 🤔

They are a ton of One Piece fans all over the world. I'm from Austria and live in Germany now, and it's my favourite anime! Everyone of my friends knows the anime, some just don't want to watch it because it's so long. But I even read the newest manga chapter every week. One day I wore a normal straw hat and someone mentioned One Piece because of that. ^^

Funny enough, the pasta you got in Sardinia in addition to the mussels seemed to be seasoned with Bottarga, which is an analogue of Karasumi. Another thing that unites Italy and Japan.

Mmm I wish I could have more cheese. My nutritionist says I can't. Ugh. It looks so good. The springs were really cool to learn about. Those are hay or straw bales with where you asked, "What are these?" They get rolled up like that in the US too.

Long time no see. It's Mato. I heard from Motti-san about your KZfaq stuff. Your videos are awesome. I've only watched the Italy Part 1 and Part 2 so far, but I'm amazed by the quality. Keep posting more. By the way, where are you now? Lol. I'm living in Tsukuba City now and I have an Italian coworker. He really hates wasting stuff. For starters, he never takes plastic bags at convenience stores, and if I take one, he always asks WHY? It got so annoying to answer that I’ve stopped taking them too. Lol. Also, when we go to service areas on the highway, he only throws away the trash inside the car but keeps using the same plastic bag over and over. Lol. And the coffee cup he gets from Seven Eleven? He uses the same one like 10 times. The store probably wants him to stop for hygiene reasons. Influenced by him, I started hiking, surfing, ski, .running and biking, so on. Let's hang out again if you're up for it!

I live in France and I've got a washing machine like that, they're quite normal here, but I don't remember ever seeing them when I lived in the UK. They're pretty good, and they don't leak like the front loading ones can, but you have to be careful you shut the drum properly, and that there's no part of your clothes caught in the closing part, or it can tear and ruin the clothes and even damage or break the washing machine!

2:35 Italians love anime, since they started appearing on Italian TV channels in 1975 give/take. "What anime do you like" is a question you should not do to an Italian simply 'cause he won't stop talking about that! For example, my road bike has the Fujiwara Tofu Shop sticker on each side 😎 Btw I believe Italians and Japaneses like each other, so no need to be shy - come to visit Italy 😀

Japanese animes are really popular abroad Japan, in fact France is the second largest consumer of japanese mangas after Japan ! As for the toyota yaris it's because it's an hybrid car and it's requiered in Europe for VTC (uber ect) to use a electric or hybrid car otherwise their licences won't work anymore !

The mysterious round objects are hay bales, made by fully automated round balers. Round balers are a great innovation (invented about 50 years ago) and children love to play on them in the summer 🙂. There are thousands of them here in the Black Forest region of Germany too. -> kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eaqCe9yfs7WmiWw.html Great film! Thanks so much!
