Whenever I play Battlefront 2 i dream of a Halo multiplayer of this size.

That APC I swear was shown more recently with its textures much closer to completion, the red unfinished texturing version has been there almost since launch.

Genuinely thought Infinite was gonna be the "MCC" for the future even complete with campaign DLCs handled like how MCC does it. The whole sandbox would've also been easily upgraded if they just changed their philosophy of CQC maps or whatever like especially BTB stuff.

Dog the vehicles just need to be way stronger and the graphics sucks compared to even older halo games, also animations need to be better, that’s kinda all I really dislike about the game really.

What's sad is that trailer was released when the game was in its white-box phase: basically nothing in that trailer had been implemented yet, and it was up to 343 to catch up. 343 didn't even make the trailer, it was an outside studio. As much as people hate on 343, Microsoft shares equal blame.

@@YoyMcFroy right, it set us up for so many above and beyond expectations which had they met it would’ve been awesome but we all felt underwhelmed with the release, very little changed from the beta to the game release

@@YoyMcFroy I honestly think Microsoft is more to blame, 343 was so spread out and had so many contractors, on almost each aspect of the game was a different contracting company working on it, the management of the games development falls all on Microsoft

Gameplay wise it is indeed the best one, at the least shooting, movement, vehicles, enemy and art style, it's genuinely good on that part, it's kinda sad that most people ignore this. Seriously I think the most underrated part of Infinite is it's soundtrack, did y'all ever hear it? It's straight up so good, especially the Endless Theme. Not that I disagree with the complaints tho, this game could also have had a much better support, especially content and technical wise. The menus take so long to load and finding matches takes FOREVER.

This *should* have been the best halo yet. The game did so much right. But it was the high level decisions that ruined it. Most mismanaged game release I have ever seen. What a blunder.

I still haven't forgotten halo 5. The sandbox and multiplayer were good enough to pass but the campaign, art style and music was so not halo it wasn't even funny

For sure, one of the og lego sets for Halo Infinite teased a unsc boat type vehicle, which made my mind think of a Halo version of Wake Island from Battlefield.

How could it be forgotten? It gave us the best Forge opportunities by far. Just look at all of the fan created content out there.

@@Harbingeruprisingofficial it won't stand the test of time because Forge was its only improvement on prior games. The games usually have common sentences describing them amongst fans. Infinite's will be something like "oh, yeah the one that had a ton of potential that 343 fumbled miserably", or "that one that played well but most of the content was e-shop cosmetics". Forge is awesome, but ultimately there are much bigger negative talking points surrounding the game that it will be known for.

It was cut so late in development; you can find destroyed Skiffs in campaign (maybe intended as basically a ground-based phantom, imagine patrols of Skiffs roaming the open world!) and there was a Megabloks toy based on it released.

Ever wonder why lots of people quit? Not only the leadership within 343 but 343 as a whole is Microsoft’s scapegoat for why Halo isn’t where it needs to be when it’s the Big Chair that fucks everything up

I think it has to be bureaucracy. I.e. you *could* get one guy, give him a weekend, and he'll add the 99.99% finished falcon to maps and stuff. BUUUT you need to get the clearance from your team leader, who needs to get the clearance from the manager, who needs to get the clearance from corporate, and each step requires like a desk-full of paperwork, and a week of waiting each step. And corporate will likely say "NO" because if it diverts even a modicum of effort away from nickel-and-diming people with new shop cosmetics to line their pockets, they aren't interested. Nobody is allowed to just...do stuff. They need it to be cleared all the way to the top, which takes forever, involves a ton of paperwork, and is at the mercy of a corporate suit who doesn't even play video games.

Well yeah, but they couldn't charge you $20 for it. Infinite has gotten literally one new weapon (with a variant) in it's entire "live-service", but countless cosmetics that each cost like $20. That's where their priorities lie; it's a sinking ship and they're snatching everyone's wallet on their way to the lifeboat.
