Victor Grillo's submission is one of the tastiest I've heard in a long while.

Just a whole bunch of really talented people entering this year. 🤯Some that I liked from this one were: Mats Moland Traeen, Vitalii Scherbina, Pete & Vinnie, Georgi Dobrev, Dignity, Martin Bergner, Soren, Jon Yadon Jr., Solomon, Mateusz Baprowski. Really good solos here, everyone!

Even though i like Jared's commentary, i actually like this better because you've basically given these players their own biggest shred collab before the official one.

The one that stands out to me (by a small margin…..so many great players…) is Maxx Blois-Rosetti (6:21) I love how the dude almost seems surprised by how good his own note choice is.

My favourite was bpmelody but I also loved Emmy Barone, Marcin Momot, Preston Lee, Betina, Mats Moland Traeen and Aditya Ghosh.

Ok...can we just take a minute and appreciate some of the beautiful instruments in this video? Aditya's Ibanez, Matt's red Les Paul, Preston's Kiesel...holy hell. All gorgeous. Now...sadly....I can barely pick a favorite in this video. While they are all outstanding technically, they all sound the same. IF I was hard pressed, I would go with Emilio simply because of that harmonic section he did at 11:09. That stuck out. Tone wise, they are all starting to sound the same.

My pick is Preston Lee. Cool opening, great solo...sounds melodic and like a real song.

Preston Lee came in hard as the first submission in this video and it’s difficult to be the one to set the bar like that, Mateusz Baprowski has my favorite guitar and tone out of these, Emmy Barones was the one that stood out to me as the most unique and well executed, and I know I said I’d limit my picks to 3 for each of these videos but Marcin Momot also really stood out to me. All these musicians are 🔥 asf!
