This 35 minute drop set dumbbell workout is exactly what you need to BUILD muscle and endurance. Strength training with dumbbells is incredibly effective at not only building muscle strength and tone, but the added weight places an extra amount of exertion on you throughout each of the exercises, resulting in more calories burned. This is key for losing body fat.
Here's how this workout will go down:
- Each round consists of 3 exercises that are the same or similar movements.
- For most of the workout, the 1st exercise in each round will use x2 dumbbells.
- Drop to x1 dumbbell for the 2nd exercise in the round.
- Drop to bodyweight only for the 3rd exercise in the round.
- Each exercise is 20 sec, so you'll complete all 3 exercises each round without rest, for a total of 60 seconds, before taking a 30 sec rest.
- There are a few exercises that are the exception to this as we do some unilateral movements, but the 20/20/20 second format will be consistent throughout the workout.

Crushed this one last night. Had to take a couple rests on the diamond push-ups but I loved the challenge of it. Perfect workout and not too demanding like some HIIT cardio workouts can be. Thank you for this.

Beautiful and amazing workout. At the moment this is my go to workout. Started with 6kg per dumbbell, now I have 7kg. Easy to do exercises and a great pace. Music is perfect. And I also like the bodyweight parts. Thanks

Love this. You think the body weight part will be easy, but it's not. Really enjoy the cool down. Forces me to think about it as opposed to doing a cursory stretch. Going to sign onto the 60 day programme soon

Loved this workout. However, is there a disadvantage to having the abs/core component intertwined in between upper and lower body workout sections? Only reason I ask is that I have heard recommendations not to lift any weight at all after abs/core because your core becomes weak and it may increase risk of injury, any truth behind that? thnx guys for thzt new work out.. 🙏 it does change from routine..and thnx for all that made up Vidros ..! i'd love if u can Cut ffom rest sec..instead of 20 sec. if u can make it 15secs or 14secs..it will give us high intensity and our body will use 2it..and one more things pls..! if u can make a streching course in 20 or 25 minutes.. like the one we can do in our w-kend..! cheers mates..😀💪💪🙏🙏
