El 8/9/1979, nueve días después de que desapareciera, se hallo su cuerpo descompuesto, envuelto en una sábana, en el asiento trasero de su auto, estacionado cerca de su departamento en el distrito XVI de París. La policía halló una botella de barbitúricos, otra de agua mineral vacía y una nota, escrita en francés, dirigida a su hijo. La autopsia le detectó un nivel letal de sedantes y alcohol en sangre, se estableció como probable causa del óbito, el suicidio. Un año después, la policía francesa determinó que su cuerpo tenía un nivel tan alto de alcohol en sangre que no habría podido haber ingresado al auto por su cuenta, e informaron de que no hallaron restos de bebidas alcohólicas. Por ello, se estabeció que alguien debió haber estado presente cuando murió y no buscó ayuda médica, ¿quién? El actor Ahmed Hasmi, su pareja, reportó que ella, dejó su casa el 30/8 y no volvió a saber de ella, hasta que fue hallado su cadáver 10 días después. Muchas preguntas sigue generando también la relación que tenía con el que entonces era su pareja, Ahmed Hasni (29), playboy argelino de reputación dudosa, contó a la policía que trató de suicidarse en las semanas previas al hallazgo del cuerpo, tirándose a las vías del metro en la estación Montparnasse. Aseguró que el 30/8/1979, tras salir del cine deprimida, dejó el departamento que compartían, en plena noche y cubierta con solo una sábana, 9 días fue hallada muerta. That's a conspiracy theory. No foul play was found, and nobody swallows douzens of pills involuntarily. Also she was known to have depressions.

Agree. She was involved with JFK, then RFK. She put out a press release saying she had an announcement she would make. RFK et. al., thought it was going to be about her affairs with them, but according to her housekeeper, she was going to announce her remarriage to baseball great, Joe DiMaggio. DiMaggio sent roses to her crypt every year til he himself passed. Very sad.

I am pretty sure Robin Williams can be taken off this list too. Too sketchy circumstances.

I was thinking the same about some of these listed as drug overdose. With Marilyn, there are so many unanswered questions and lots of theories! I heard that the ambulance picked her up at her house, and half way to the hospital, got a call from the owner Mr Shaeffer, telling them to return her to the house! Just one of many stories I have read lol

Though I think he should be counted with the others whose death was an accidental overdose. It’s been said by those who knew him well that Heath was suffering with insomnia after a heavy work schedule and was so overtired and desperate for sleep that he accidentally took too many tablets. He was personally happy in his relationship and had recently become a dad. He had a lot to look forward to.

Another person or people had to have been in involved her death. She could not have climbed into the car where they found her by herself with that much alcohol in her blood.
