35 weed or 40 BIG BORE??

Hi all,
With the Taylor 35 arriving and looking so strong i'm hearing the question.... "its only 5cc.... should i go 35 or 40??" A bit of comparison footage and chat on the subject here with myself and Mick.

Brought the Taylor pipe for the Taylor 35 I'm getting for Christmas my Baja is hopped up with loads of Taylor rc upgrades just need upgrades brakes and want the Taylor rc transmission case

35 is my pick, great video, I assumed, just as you highlighted, it's 5cc, can't be that different, maybe the 40 revs slightly lower or makes a marginal bit more torque, but interesting to see how its actually completely different engine characteristics 👍

yeah.... depending on where you run, that can be a big issue. out in the open though the big bore thrill can't be beat!

Is the MCD far and away a better buggy than the Losi 5ive B??? If they both had 35cc same engines??

Hi mate. In some ways yes, some no. We ran both 35's together and they were both great fun. The mcd is slightly lighter, longer and if on the same wheels wider. therefore the base setup of both cars is a fair bit different. The mcd seems to be a faster car, but its very setup dependant. If both cars were setup by pro's to be the best they can be for that field who knows!.... The mcd does have a ton of adjustment!... and things like limited slip differentials as upgrades. I have now upgraded my mcd to run lsd's front and centre, so with that setup i expect it to be even quicker out the turns/ off the mark.... we'll see next weekend as we are going to a uk rc event with both oval and technical tracks!
