Çok güzel elinize sağlık... Bende eskiden makinistlik yaptım ama o dönemin makineleri kömürlüydü... Ben sinema makinleri hastasıyım

Makinist uyuyakalınca ıslık seslerini duyar vede kömürleri tekrar birbirlerine yaklaştırıp ark yapmasını sağlardı. D:)

Bizim zamanımızda film ekleme aparatı yoktu ayrıca filmi kolla çevirirdik makine kömürlü idi ayrıca filme ara vermeden 2 inci bobin takacaksın bunlar kolaylık

birol abi, bende çınarcıktaki yazlıkta kışın kömür yaka yaka biraz ilerledim :--) kömürün ışık vermesi zor değil mi, parçası ufak hatta toz kömür mü yakıyordunuz?

hocam bu negatif film perdede nasıl pozitif oluyor objektifin orda filtre falan mı var varsa isimleri nedir acaba ?

+keko can kardeş, makineye takılan film negatif değil. Film üzerindeki resim pozitiftir renkleri normaldir.

filmin orjinal negatifi sadece yapımcı şirkette bulunur, eski filmlerin restoresi negatif kullanılarak yapılıyor. 35mm eski nesillerin bize bıraktığı tarihi bir mirastır.

Seems very rough like it can scratch and damage the film. No finesse at all.

Europeans ship release prints in a big garbage bag? And not on reels? Then this guy rewinds without a split reel encasing both sides of the free reel (lots of potential for film to fly off and get badly damaged. Then he splices without cotton gloves, getting the lipid fat from his fingers all over the film on both sides of the splice...it is any wonder the world has moved to digital and away from this dirt and scratch making medium? It is guys like this who gave film a bad name. Sorry, this doesn't fill me with nostalgic longing for a time when film was used to show movies, it just makes me understand more clearly why getting rid of film was a technological necessity -- get the ill-trained projectionist out of the loop altogether.

Perhaps this video will be used as a reference for future kids on bad projectionist habits. Anyway during college, I worked in a photo and camera store as a lab technician printing photos. And whenever I handled negative film, I always wore cotton white gloves. Not only was it in the job description, I had respect for customers' film negatives because these could be saved for future re-prints or enlargements. Because I always wore gloves, I somehow develop a habit of getting disgusted when touching film negatives with my bare hands. Yet my other co-workers in the lab never wore gloves. I guess for some projectionists, the cinema was a magical experience where they treated the 35mm film prints with respect with careful handling and storage. However, most probably didn't really care.

@@SquareBrick Maybe watch the video before leaving "clever" comments. There are 2 rollers mounted on the back of the lamphouse.
