Who are Kara and Nate?!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Hey y’all! Before you watch, we wanted to fill you in on what this video is 😊 We made 6 different episodes of our bike ride across America, and this 4 hour long video is ALL of them smushed together into one big movie 🍿 Besides the new intro, this video is the same as the past 6 uploads on our channel (just removed the ads and put all the bloopers at the end 😊). We felt like this adventure was so grand that we wanted the whole journey in one place to live on the internet forever! I watched this video with my grandma, who usually falls asleep when anything is on the TV but she was awake the entire time and super engaged with the video! She loved how energetic Kara is and Nate’s Hawaiian shirt and safety man outfits! My grandma is now a Kara and Nate supporter!! 🫶

Wow! Okay, I know to never underestimate you two again 😂 A 4 hour film of Biking Across America and I am here for it! I'll probably be returning every so often when I miss your biggest and most exciting trip yet. This was one of my favorites (well way up there) mainly because you'd done no training, there was so much funny content, conversations, you never once** gave up, kids for being involved, your friends were totally involved plus 1000000% invested & to top it off YOU MADE it! It's 3 am. I kept telling myself to just go to bed! I couldn't, even though I watched ALL of the vlogs. Even though it was like "National Lampoons" I loved each and every minute!
