I am Indonesian,,, even tho it named Komodo but the building Architecture mostly captured Javanese and Balinese ethnic architecture and arts,,, The building really captured Indonesian culture heritage, the ornate ceiling is really ethnic to Javanese ppl... I feels so flattered 😊

I lived in Hawaii for four years when my dad was stationed there.....long ago. I used to go to Haleiwa and other places on the North Shore before surfing became a big thing. It’s a shame nice places get so crowded, but I am sure there are still special places there without all the people and traffic. Nice house, beautiful location. I will be back soon.

Serenity. This property is so beautifully designed that I cannot stop watching the video multiple times. So open and yet so private with stunning views of the ocean. And access to the beach is just a stroll away. Aaaaaamazing.

My dreams were fulfilled in Waikiki twice and North Shore twice by Waimea Bay 1972. Lived on North Shore last time was 1980. No cars. No radio TV or telephones in 1972. Maybe a bus would go by. 1968. Waikiki when high-rises were just beginning to get built. Worked, went to U of Hawaii, met my husband and our daughter was born 3 years later. Memories of the older Hawaii and the beautiful local people. This house is as beautiful as you can get ‼️ Usually it's the view but in this case it's the home. 🤙

What an amazing home. I haven’t had a holiday since 1987, which was the last time I was in Hawaii, the first time being in 1985 and for me it just felt like coming home, because the funny thing is, I’m from England? The thought of waking up to the sound of the waves and having the Sea Turtles come up to lay their eggs on the beach ......... HEAVEN. Mahalo for sharing 🙏🏻 🤙🏻

Oh my thats my dream home right near the beach. I wouldnt sell it. I can't believe it's even for sale I was in Oahu in January this January it was great loved it. Makes you wonder why some people are rich and some aren't.

Best place on earth. I was born and raised in the Silicon Valley/Santa Cruz Mountains/ SF Peninsula, and there is only one place in the world I would consider living than here, and that is Hawaii. True paradise. If I was rich, I would buy a house on all 4 main Islands. On Oahu, it would definitely be the North Shore.

All I would need is my surfboard & hit the ocean from my backyard.... I just luv...luv Hawai'i... best enjoyed outdoors among the amazing nature .... beautiful property with a view to die for 🏖🌴🌱🌿🌺🌸🐚 There's something special about the northshore... will be there this week 😍 Can't wait!!!!

This truly is a beautiful property. I like that it is on Oahu as well. There are a number of estates like this on the big island but I think many are overrated.

One of the classic Hawaiian estate homes. "If I could have afforded this home...had I won a lottery..."...I'd think this home has already been sold. A video posted in 2015?? Still online? Maybe do a follow up video...or update the description telling us it's been sold and for how much. :)

And it's only a hair under 15M along the "north shore" of Oahu. "Cheaper" than the $22M+ homes on Kalua's shore on Kalaheo Ave..Kalua Beach. Maybe Hawaii's "Malibu".

Probably need a jackpot win for this home. Even among luxury homes this one is truly "custom". I think people quickly watching this video once through miss the fact that they had a "natural stone tub" in one of the bathrooms. Those tubs weight almost 4000 pounds...which means the tub has to be lifted in at the start of construction...with the rest of the home built around it. :) And the support it would need even on the ground floor has to be considered. They also had t2o natural stone sinks in one of the bathrooms. :) Only thing missing from this home for me would be a custom home theatre room, walk-in wine cellar and sizeable home gym rivalling a serious commercial gym. For $14.5M you might as well have EVERYTHING you'd want in such a home (even in a lesser home). :)

property taxes $23,000 a year not too bad. In Texas a 15m dollar home taxes would be well over 200k a year.

So this was listed for $25 million when they uploaded this video. Took 3 years and a 50% price cut to sell it. The people that own it now rent it out to tourists for $5,000 per night.

Times have passed.... these are horrible times we live in right now. A total waste of money to spend on this property right now. Even if you did... the property tax and maintenance is not worth it. Unless, youre a Jeff Bezos

As an Indonesian, I can tell that the architecture was not a Balinese architecture thou. Sure, it reflected Indonesian arts and culture, but generally it captured the Javanese architecture. It because I saw the "Tumpang Sari" ceiling that's actually a Javanese main way to build the main hall, but also because Balinese people has a different taste of art in their way of building a house. Balinese always use exposed natural sculpture of stone and wood. The Patterns are also quite different.

Outstanding wood work in the door frames and coffered ceilings. Very nice Balinese landscaping. Probably mixed with Polynesian influences. Just need to convert a room into a custom home theater and another into a gym. Add a wine-cellar Or Wine fridge. :) Wonder if it's sold as of yet.

This is So Beautiful, accompanied by very Morning 🌄 Pleasant music and all I can do is SEE MYSELF WAKING UP IN THIS MAGNIFICENT HOME 🏡.
