Lots of craziness in Logan right now. Holding all judgement of everyone involved including the AD and President until we get more information. Sucks being so close to the start of the season and sucks that this is how Andersen's time at Utah State came to an end. There were a couple things about him that rubbed me the wrong way, and I didn't like being just 6-6 (6-7 after a loss in the bowl) for the last couple of years. However, I was still rooting for him to succeed and get back to winning the MWC. The team seemed to be behind him and he seemed to be keeping us with good talent despite the new NIL and transfer portal challenges. Same with Bovee, seemed like an effective Associate AD and held things down well after AD Hartwell left us in a lurch. Who knows, we may even get to find out why he did in all of this.

As a fan of BYU, out side of the internet UTAH And BYU is not as heated. I love Utah fans. It is a great school. I love the rivalry. When both were in the Mountain West the conference champion had to defeat both of them. Only happened once out side of that. In 2008 BYU and Utah both had great seasons. BYU with a win would have taken the conference. And no matter what their Bowl game was set to the LV bowl. However BYU wanted to ruin Utahs BCS dreams. That was one of the most heated rivalry games of my life time and Utah dominated.

Honestly, this rivalry has become too toxic. I used to enjoy it because it was mostly good natured, but no more.

The rivalry is awesome man. Yes, there might be some vitriol back and forth but you can’t have a rivalry without it. Otherwise, it’s not really a rivalry.

The Holy War is much less toxic when you're a Utah State Alum/Fan. Each of us USU fans have a side that we take with all of that, myself I will pull for Utah in that game but other USU fans pull for BYU. We obviously don't take it as seriously because we all know that Utah State is superior to both of them.

@@THEeyepatch11 Can't wait, I have my season tickets! Not having a head coach is not going to stop me from watching the Aggies. Glad we are adding a chapter to the Battle of the Brothers this year. Hopefully we get more of these in state games now that Utah and BYU are back in the same conference.

There is a reason all the teams in the WAC and MWC hated the team down south and yes, they beat up on those teams even Utah but they have the most entitled, pompous, vain, whiny and insecure fanbase in the nation. Warning to all the teams and their fanbases in the Big XII... Your team will never actually beat the team down south because: It was the refs, the weather, it was a day game and not a night game, jet lag, they had turnovers, injuries, they weren't prepared enough and did I say... The refs? Hey tds fans...1-10 is coming on November 9th, 2024 @RES. GO UTES!

I love how utah fans have done nothing but get online and talk trash about the Big12 and BYU then say how bad BYU fans are. I think every team's fans are seeing what Utah fans are like. However, Whit has built a great program up there and I hope they have a good first season in the Big12. Go Cougs!

I got the screen shots. I haven't personally talked trash about the Big XII but I will talk trash about the 5-7 Power Conference wannabes team down south all day. Hilarious.
