Actually, Nakime does have a backstory. I can’t remember it in full detail off the top of my head, but she led a poor life and it was made worse by her husband who was addicted to gambling. One night she was about to give a biwa performance until she found out that her husband had gambled her dress away. She used something like an axe or brick or smth to kill him in a fit of rage and when she realised what she had done, she was terrified but she had to go on to perform despite her ragged clothes. The audience thought she was some beggar at first but she played so beautifully and got a standing ovation. Then she stated choosing one person to kill every time before a performance until one time, she chose to kill Muzan but failed. But Muzan found her attempt quite daring and liked her motives and so yeah. She’s my favourite character in all of kny cus she’s musical and so am I
