Hi mommy❤ I'm loving your journey. I wanted to dm you on insta but your acc is private and I couldn't wait lol...I wanted to ask if you've ever dealt with African parents advising you to "protect " your pregnancy via tradition or rituals etc? I'd really appreciate your feedback, anyone pliz

Hey sister 🥰 thanks for watching my journey. No there’s no one from my family or the in-laws side that advised me on “protecting“ the pregnancy or the baby. I assume it’s because they know I’m born-again Christian so I wouldn’t agree to any rituals in any case. I just prayed over my pregnancy to protect it and I didn’t share it on social media until baby was born, not because of fear of evil or whatever…I just didn’t want attention. I wanted to go through it alone and enjoy the journey without other people’s opinions

@@DawnNomusa thank you for responding❤ my family is also aware that I'm a Christian yet they pressuring me mentioning all these ridiculous consequences of not doing it...I believe it's a test of my faith in God at this point. I can't allow to be easily uprooted from my faith by such tactics. Thank you ❤🙏
