Yes and no cause for one they had to cancel A LOT of shows before the one that was shown on here due to morten not feeling well along with having Covid. Wait til you hear their comeback album that got released in October considering it was recorded in a live take ✨

He did have some vocal issues but he's never wailed at his voice like modern singers do. They sing too loud too often and then get too damaged at an earlier and earlier age. You'd think singing loud wouldn't be so needed when they are always behind a microphone.

@@Iflie For better expressive control in your voice, you can add more or less expression by singing at different velocities or adding things like vibrator or gliding between notes and so on. Singing louder also produces a different timbre, notice how someone sounds much softer when they sing quietly, even in a microphone?

@@Po1lux Singing can use a really varied instrument but modern popstars are selected by almost always singing really loudly. You see that happen in the talent shows, they always select the people who are the loudest. The trouble with that is they then have to sing at that level too often, they voice can't recover and they end up with nodules and a lack of vocal control. Smoking and other things don't help but singers are still young when they get voice issues now. A-ha hasn't been constantly performing.

I wouldn’t say exactly the same as the studio version but in terms of performing, his voice roughly remained the same since a-ha’s first tour only for his voice to be more lighter today
