Have used my Forester co-ax for several years. Just a solid design that gets the job done....kinda slow but quality for sure. Thanks

I used two Wolfcraft SZ screw clamps (SZ 80-150). Not exactly cheap, but high quality and very rigid. I needed the press to be sturdily mounted to my desk and yet easily removable. So, I simply used clamps to sandwich the desktop between two wooden boards, the press itself beeing bolted to the upper board only. That way, no mounting holes are needed, no damage is made to the desk due to the pressure of the clamps, and removing the press is a matter of seconds. Works well so far...

Figured it out. Woodworkers bar clamps. But that is precisely the set up I'll be looking at. According to what I've read, the Forster Co-Ax has so much camming power that it does not need to be bolted as securely as my RCBS Rockchucker. Another nice feature of the Co-Ax is the controllable primer seating depth. I load Berdan primers and with Berdan the seating depth is critical more so than with Boxer. You don't have to do it by feel with the Co-Ax. Now for the wait.

Amazing. The brilliant Co-ax press about the most expensive top quality press on the market. The RCBS Powder dispenser. Which is by far the expensive and best out there. And then the cheapest dies on the market is used Lee Dies. At least use better quality dies in the set up.

Hello, great video! I noticed some pronounced tooling marks on the brass. I assume that's a result of the clamps from the press. Does the clamping system deform the brass in any way, and do you think this will affect the longevity of the brass? I have one of these on back order and I'm hoping that I didn't make a mistake in ordering this press. Thanks.

The screw clamps! Who makes those and were can they be purchased? I have a Forster Co-Ax on back order at Brownell's. I've taken over a spare bedroom and really don't want to drill holes into custom build cabinets............well..........any more holes than necessary!

Unnecessary. I have powder and primers and ammo from the early 80s and they all still work. If you load inside it won't matter. Storage? Cool, dry location with the caps on tight. I store primers in a Tupperware container but that may not be necessary. Also, I don't leave powder in the powder measure. It gets poured back into the can and the lid gets closed tight. Powder and primers will deteriorate more quickly in a tropical environment but for everyday, home use, no need to worry.

Which powder funnel is this? none of my will fit the lee dies on the co-ax

The powder funnel is home made. It is built from the smallest of the two funnels included into the MTM Universal Powder Funnel Set, the one which tube external diameter ranges from 16.00 mm (0.63 in) at its base to 15.40 mm (0.6065 in) at its end. The length of the cone is reduced to create enough lateral clearance for the two arms of the yoke handle casting of the press. The overall length of the funnel is now 62 mm (2.44 in). To make enough clearance for the two guide rods of the press to move up, a vertical flat side is also created into the rear part of the cone by cutting it and gluing a flat piece of plastic.
