I love John's energy on the show. Heavy little brother vibes hanging out with his big brothers. Drew taking DDV over Deni, but Deni over Suggs is wild to me. Even DDV over Hart is debatable, Deni and Suggs are much closer imo.

1:30:01 I know we are evaluating them as players, but Joel asked “would the Knicks swap Hart for Deni ?” That would include contracts and in that case…. Deni makes $15 mill this year and $11 mill in 2027, it’s not even close who I’d rather have… he’s pretty easily on the best contract in the league imo… if I’m a contender, he’s probably the #1 role player on my wish list considering the second apron is basically a hard cap.

Josh Hart makes $18M a year and caps out at $20M in 26-27. I don’t think the contracts play that big of a role here

@@pickasideHart is 29, and Deni 23… by 2027 Deni will be 27 making 11 Mill. With another 4 years of development, odds are Deni is the better basketball player by then. If we’re taking into account contracts I still don’t think it’s close. (Love Hart tho, grew up in the same city as me and everything, but Deni is the better player imo)

Wolves won. Easily. Traded a 6th grader for the best offensive player in the draft. Got a steal at pick 27. They got better while being handcuffed by the luxury tax. Tim Connolly is the best GM in basketball.

The pistons have had bad luck with the lottery ever since we got Cade. We lucked out finally and got blessed with Cade. Then followed that up with getting the 5th pick three straight years. Like Joel said sometimes you lose just because you’re unlucky. Not saying that Ivey ausar or Ron are bad players. That’s not what I’m saying at all but we got the fifth pick in 3 straight drafts. The past two years if our pick just lands at 3,2 or even 4 the pistons are able to draft a player that actually fits and can play with Cade day one. Imagine if they were able to get Keagan, smith jr, Paolo, Brandon miller, hell fucking VICTOR 😭😭😭 victor and Cade would feed the entire state of Michigan for decades lmao.
