Good evening! How can I display the number of unread messages instead of the green circle in LAST MESSAGE TIME?

Actually due to our structure we can't take count of unread messages directly. Rather you need to query each user chat details & then get messages which are not read and then show its count (but this will increase firebase read count a lot).

Maybe the internet connection is not that good, that is the reason why messages are not sent serially.

Yep, we can (remove limit & use where() to load all messages with empty read time & get its count and show it).

Check if you're properly sending the time or formatting the time while showing it (use logs to debug it).

We could but due to nested streams it's bit difficult for our structure. So one thing you can try is to sort list when it is loaded (with statemanagent like getx) and going to be displayed in home screen. Sort list of custom objects: stackoverflow.com/questions/53547997/sort-a-list-of-objects-in-flutter-dart-by-property-value
