I think is 3c with just a little bit of 4a. Generally, mixed ppl can have more than one hair type in the head.

Your curl pattern seems to be more 3b/3c (like mine ) but you have a more medium to coarse texture which is why it might be mistaken as type 4 hair. Your hair is goals😍😍

Girl I was just talking to some friends about not being able to tell what my hair type is and they were telling me to check hair videos on KZfaq and I was like "I've watched a lot of natural hair KZfaq videos, no one on there has my hair type" and just decided to check KZfaq again and voila, here you are with my exact curl type (albeit less frizzy). But girl I still don't know what my curl pattern is 😂. These curl pattern charts are so fucking confusing😭.

How do you keep the nape and your hair from tangling in general. My hair is similar to yours and my nape tangles and I have had to cut out a lot of knots because it’s so fine that it tangles easily.

My best advice is when I'm just chilling at home I put a scarf around my head, I tie it in the front so the back is smoothed upward and I add oil to my ends so they are less likely to tangle up! I hope this helps!💕

I need to know how you grow and straighten your hair. I just found out what my hair type was and I would love to have it grow. It takes forever to grow and when I straighten it, it always frizzes and becomes a fro. I loved this video and I would love to learn more about my hair.

For curly hairs... is it good to wet hair everyday or wet few times a week? if im not wetting that day....do i need to apply moisturizing everyday?

It depends! If your hair easily tangles I would say wet it more often so you can keep it tame and moisturized, otherwise I would apply a little moisture and style everyday. A little moisture every day will help it from getting dry in the long run and keep your wash days from being the only days it gets moisture.

thanks for the tips- my daughter is a 3c (I think) and I have to put stuff in it and comb it out every.single.day. and it's exhausting. I wish she was old enough to do it herself lol

I would recommend watching some “protective styles for children” videos. I have 3c hair also. When I was a little girl my mom would put it in a protective style at the beginning of the week (with occasional refreshing throughout the week) and take it out on wash day. My hair was long and healthy. Good luck!

This hair don't look like 3c/4a more like 3b/3c. 4a isn't loose like your curls. Check other 3c/4a the looser the curl the lower the type.
