James Gunn already said that the shift between universes will be addressed in Peacemaker Season 2, but will not be significant to the plot. I think the show will just continue as any other TV show

Try to think about Peacemaker season 2 like how 'Daredevil Born Again' was pitched. A show with the exact same cast playing the exact same characters with similar events happening, but not in the same universe as the Netflix shows.

It's not even THAT confusing. If any of you watched The Flashpoint Paradox or even read the comic event, y'all should know that when The Flash saved his mom, everything went to shit, but once he tries to "fix things" stuff gets altered, rebooted or plainly erased from the from the new universe. That's pretty much like the New 52.

Cris, I would say the multiverse confusion stuff DID happen with the MCU to a lesser extent. Because The Incredible Hulk is a "requel" to Hulk (2003). It begins exactly where that film ends, with Bruce Banner in hiding in Brazil but is in a completely new universe.

First I'm excited all the Spider-Man movies with Tobey, Andrew and Tom are being re-released. Second, if Sam gets to make his Spider-Man 4, Sony is guaranteed to have a hit as long as they don't interfere as much as they did with their other Spider-Man films.

Marvel Studios and Sony are probably going to work together on Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 4 so they can get him ready and set him up for his appearance in the MCU'S Avengers: Secret Wars!

I'm hoping Ke huy Quan will be the voice of Yoshi for Mario, I can imagine him saying "Yoshi" perfectly

Bro...we had 3 Batmen in The Flash. 3 (technically) Flashes were happening simultaneously. And then we saw the gamut of superheroes in film happen during the Speed Force time battle sequence. That movie ended with the same Flash and Aquaman but a long lost Bruce Wayne showing up before the credits rolled. The Flash movie, though not like people expected, DID change that universe. And clearly, some things will be similar to what we already had. Anyone who's read comics will get that. And anyone who hasn't read comics, much like those of us who experienced that type of shift for the first time in comics, will figure it out. Yes, we're gonna have two Batmen happening in different movie universes at the same time. Yes, There can be a Sam Raimi Spider-Man 4 while the MCU has Tom Holland. The idea of the multiverse is no longer an abstract thing to the fanbase at large...even casual superhero fans now know that it actively exists, and have seen it in action via Live and Animation...this is not a tough sell. And I'm here for the chaos...let's have all the chaos.

My idea of how Peacemaker season 2 will work: Season 1 is DCEU Season 2 is DCU Season 1 will not be canon to the DCU, but it WILL be canon to season 2. Irrc, James has mentioned that season 2 will address the universe changing between seasons, so I believe that Peacemaker is somehow going to remember the previous universe from season 1 at the start of season 2. I remember reading a theory somewhere that he might have been inside that pocket dimension in his dad's house when the Flash reset the universe, so he was left untouched by the continuity being rewritten, and honestly that works really well as an explanation. I mean, ultimately James is going to do it in a way that makes sense in-universe, but that's just my guess for how it could turn out.

It would be pretty cool to see a movie about Luigi going through his journey in that haunted house, maybe after Mario 2 or even before we could potentially get a movie like that. Hopefully if Spider man 4 ever does come out, it's done right with a good story and theme. The Oscar clips looked pretty funny. Great video 3c Films

I may have loved Spider Verse more, but seeing Hayao Miyazaki, my favorite director, Studio Ghibli, my favorite movie studio, and anime in general pull a MASSIVE win, I’m happier this won. I even teared up a bit bro 😅🥹 I’m confident that Spider Verse will get that third one whenever it comes out. Godzilla snagged visual effects too, and I was happy for RDJ, Murphy, and Nolan too, another favorite director for me, let’s go 🔥

I think they could’ve just kept season 1 cannon. Casting changed happen all the time plus the easiest excuse is that the flash movie changes everything. But all in all it doesn’t really bother me that season 1 isn’t cannon and season 2 will be. I think the movies are the important parts
