Pretty cool, I've been working with discrete event simulations thought Plant Simulation by Siemens and currently I'm searching for new softwares to improve my skills into this segment, I loved the fact that there are many videos teaching how use AnyLogic, I'm excited to start making models in AnyLogic. Hi there. How do you change the 3D object's color? I tried the setColor("Material__1__Surf". red) function to change an object's color. The code seems no problem, but the object's color does not change at all. Thank you.

Hi Adil! You can find two different methods for changing colors in this blog. One method is specifically for 3D objects, the other method works for 2D and 3D objects - www.anylogic.com/blog/how-to-video-generating-3d-objects-of-different-colors/

Are there any restrictions on the importation of models, other than just the file type? Does it have to be triangulated polygons, what about materials, number of vertices limitation?

Hi Karl! At the moment, X3D files should be created with IndexedFaceSet (textures, materials/colors are supported). Other ones might fail to import (or import partially). From AnyLogic 8.3, we will use Collada files (.dae) instead of X3D, in line with AnyLogic Cloud. At present, AnyLogic automatically converts valid files from X3D to Collada when uploading from AnyLogic to AnyLogic Cloud.
