Free crochet video instruction will help you to make this beautiful leaf. It is a great idea for decoration: leaf looks unusual due to the arches made from the front. The base for this leaf is made of one complex stitch which contains of several tall stitches. Around the crochet leaf base we made a single crochet trim and on the next round started to crochet arches above each post on the leaf base. Good luck and that you so much for watching! This crochet leaf was made Steel Crochet Hook size 2mm or 2.25mm (which is #4 or #2 US standards) and yarn: 55% Cotton, 45% Polyacrilic, 160m in 50g, 5ply

I made two of these as part of a crochet challenge for a hat. I used a worsted variegated pink/blue/magenta to make them look fanciful. They look sensational! Thank you so much for the pattern! I oonched the pattern just a little bit on the final down-side row so the flaps would all face the tip, and made one a slightly smaller version with 5 ch for the bottom instead of 7, and only 4 sections instead of 5. They look great together!
