Today I thought I would show you a follow-up of the "Tim Holtz 3D Texture Fades Cards w/ Metallic Gilding Polish" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fsCagpdq39KadI0.html that I had previously done. You may want to watch that video as well because I cover the Gilding Polish in a bit more detail and there are several project examples!
So...in the first video, I showed you a couple of really interesting and textural cards using the beautiful Metallic Gilding Polish from Creative Expressions. We focused on just three colors in this video so that you could see how completely different they look depending on how you use them. We will also used the Tim Holtz 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folders and at the end of the video I showed you several different samples!
For this Part 2 video, I want to show you many more color combinations and I will also be showing you the differences between the Gilding Polish and the Opal Polish. You will see how the Opal Polish is a completely different color when used on black cardstock versus white cardstock. The difference is dramatic and very beautiful!
Today we will create several backgrounds and embellishments, several different color combinations and then at the end of the video we will create several cards using these items. We will also mix the Opal and Gilding Polish on the same background which will give even more dramatic results.
For texture and dimension, we will be using several 3D embossing folders and die sets from Sizzix and also several Tim Holtz idea-ology products to complete our cards (including quote chips, metallic droplets, and sprocket gears). All of these products are listed and linked below.
