My biggest complaint about MJ has been the censor bots. I'm not trying to make nudes even. There are other platforms that do that just fine. But when I try to prompt for a model to be wearing a skirt or bikini and I get dinged, it's frustrating. They really need to lighten up a bit.

I was about to make almost this same comment. It's even more annoying to me that Midjourney even makes images that can be remixed, but if I try to use that same image as a reference, it gets blocked. You literally just made this! They need to train the model to interpret language into images that fit within their acceptable scope instead of banning so many words. Control the output, not the input.

I can understand when dealing with underage, but I like generating composites with boudoir type photography elements. I am 73 yr old and as a monthly paying customer I don't appreciate the censoring. Lighten up for Christ sake.

@@alkrevit4755 It is _ridiculous_ . I'm 48. I brought it up in Discord directly to David with an example of a few that were censored during zooming out. He said they'll be reworking the moderation algorithms 1 - 4 months from now. Meanwhile, zombies with meat hanging out and kids with guns pointed at the zombies is ok, almost consistently. It is _extremely_ frustrating. That and disfigured limbs are my biggest pain points. Love it otherwise.

Thanks for the links, I am learning and doing so much. Let me know when you come up with an medium or advanced class. I have a really good course on photo mediums, but I could use some guidance on the creative art side!

I'm happy to hear that! And yes I've been hard at work on an Advanced Class. I've generated like 2000 pictures in the last week trying to get things ready haha still lots of work to go but I'm aiming for the end of the month!

Here goes the NSFW debate again 😂 At the MJ Ideas Leaderboard on the alpha site the ideas for "NSFW content" (#4) and "artistic nudity" (#9) are in the top 10, but I have already lost the hope that we will ever be able to create artistic nudity with MJ 😕 The fear of porn is still questionable as every one can create nudes or even porn on platforms like Civitai with Stable Diffusion models in seconds. Also MJ has already (without communicating this openly?) implemented an anti deep fake system, so that most images of celebrities are not look like the real persons any more. And honestly: To make this request … fourth most popular wish on the list, if we count "NSFW content" and "artistic nudity" as one topic the users' wish would be in first place by far! … a male theme is a bit sexist by David as there are a ton of female artists and have been for decades who do serious art with the nude human body. But still, I think I am losing my hope … 😅 Thanks again Nolan for your work by keeping us informed, still awesome 🙌🏽

As you eluded to, even though the MJ team has been very direct about it from the beginning, nsfw is still like the most requested 'feature' - it's fascinating. I also have resigned myself to thinking it would never happen, so I just don't really push my prompts against those limits haha

I don't want nudity, but I would like a little more variety in bust sizes, rather than 32A, unless you say "plump" then maybe you get a C. I can also see where that could be abused, but I think it is fair to say the human female model is pretty light on body type assortment.

Yah for sure, you can see the curriculum on the website - ftpai.thinkific.com/courses/mjbeginner - It's definitely for beginners though. If you already know how to use every feature, I'm not sure how much more helpful the content will be!
