I made a step by step tutorial for 3D pen beginners, on how to make the following 5 fun items:

Surprised Pikatchu
Butterfly
Loot Llama from Fortnite
Golden Snitch from Harry Potter
I show timelapses of making each of these 3D pen creations, while also narrating, so that I can highlight the important parts and give you tips.

Thank you for this tutorial. I purchased a 3D pen for my daughter for Christmas and she didn't know what to do with it because it only came with a simple user manual. This gave us the basics of what we can use it for and we feel ready to try something today!

If you do a mistake like coloring on top a different color can you remove the color. Without it mixing?

Thank you! I am just starting and I find your tutorials very helpful. Quick question, the PLA filament comes out from my 3d pen with a lot of bubbles...I am extruding at 165°C with a tecboss 3d pen. Am I doing something wrong or it just a bad quality PLA? (It was pretty cheap)

You are very welcome and I'm glad they are helpful. Bubbles in PLA usually mean it has absorbed a lot of moisture. It probably means the filament is really old or low quality or was shipped improperly. I'd try some different filament if I were you.

I use a pane of glass instead of wax paper. I works and to make it stick you spray hairspray.

If you wanted to write a small name or heart could you then super clue it to fabric ?

I think you can apply it directly to the cloth. It's hot plastic so it should adhere fairly well.

Got a new 3D pen for Christmas. It’s an Aerb Intelligent Pen. I’ve looked for tutorials based on it so I can figure out the best settings for PLA on my pen specifically, but there appears to be several different pens (Technoss, Sunulu, etc) that have the same model. Is there actually any difference between them?

I think you mean the "wax paper". You can get this at the grocery store or supermarket.

Thank you! Anywhere from 175 to 210. It varies from pen to pen and filament to filament.

Hi there, thanks for such great videos ... I'm new to the 3d pens, but have found these vidz very helpful, so I'd like to return the favour and share a little trick I've used that works for me ... if you print out your stencil and then laminate it, you can keep them to re use again, you can pen directly onto the laminate (getting it to stick is a little tricky) but once you've finished your design, the model just pops right off the laminate sheet really easily leaving the stencil ready to use again :)

Awesome video. Is it just me or does the plastic come out quick even on the slowest setting? Maybe i just have to get use to it I've only used 5m of pla haha

Thanks! I've found that speeds vary a lot from pen to pen, so it all depends on the pen you have.

I got my 3d pen yesterday, I thought you'd have full control over the flow of plastic, but you don't, it's just continuous until you press pause, gonna have to get used to that. My stuff is coming out like a crappy 5yr olds drawing lol

Since your using such a small amount the gold filament and you have go “purge” the color once done with it, so what do you? Do you only put a small amount of gold filament? Thanks, I’ve loved watching your videos!! I’m learning a lot!!

Yeah- it's tough to get all the right color filaments, especially when there are a lot of different colors. I didn't have all the right shades of blue, so I improvise and used green.
