In this video, I print a Cyclone Separator file that I downloaded from the internet on a 3D printer. I'm trying to make a Dust Collector using the resulting Cyclone Separator. I used a clear plastic bucket while doing this. Everything seemed fine, but my vacuum cleaner was a little too powerful for the job and the bucket cover shattered.. I will solve this problem in the next video. I'll make a nice Cyclone Dust Collector. If you have any suggestions, please share them in the comments.

El separador ciclónico impreso en 3D está excelente y el sistema funciona adecuadamente, el problema del contenedor quizás se podría solucionar con un recipiente mas resistente o reforzarndo el interior con una estructura cónica, en madera, por ejemplo... Gracias por compartir tu proyecto...

Selam, yaptığın işleri beğeni ile takip ediyorum. Birebir aynı kovadan kullanarak ben de yapmaya çalışmıştım. Senin başına gelenin aynısı benim de başıma gelmişti. Videoyu izlerken, kullandığın kovayı gördüğümde işin sonunu tahmin ettim :) Benim kova da patlayınca daha sonra çemberli siyah kapağı olan 30 litrelik mavi bidonlardan alıp yaptım. Bidon, kalın plastik olmasına rağmen iç kısmına senin ki gibi iki tane çember attım. Şu an hala kullanıyorum. Kolay gelsin...

Merhaba, tecrübenizi paylaştığınız için teşekkür ederim. Bu kovayı şeffaf olduğu için tercih ettim. Ama dediğiniz gibi biraz zayıf çıktı. Ama son videoda sorunu aştım gibi. Bir haftadır kullanıyorum bir sorun çıkmadı, kovanın içini görmek dolup dolmadığını izlemek güzel oluyor :) Saygılarımla....

I bought my cyclone and the bucket come together. it has a small valve (a hole basically) that avoid the collapse. so I believe you have this option or the option to buy a more rigid bucket. Beside that, I believe the cyclone will work great

if you want to reuse your thin container add reinforcement to the top rim and use ply for the top to hold the cyclone or use a paint bucket I did and it works well enough

Somewhat forseeable, but good idea. Maybe a metal Barrel would have worked better or a simple wooden box. Like the design of the cyclon.👍

Seen view with plastic container. Until I made a metal container from the paint container, there were problems. 😂

Ahahahah...kahkaha attım, çok yaşayın. Öncelikle vakum ucunu yanlış deliğe bağlıyorsunuz. Süpürgenin vakumlayan ucu yukarı bakan deliğe, toz gelen uç da cidara teğet olan deliğe girmeli. Patlamaya gelince, daha ufak bir kova kullanırsanız iş çözülebilir. Şöyle düşünün, basınç birim alana gelen kuvvettir. Sizin süpürgeniz kuvvetli evet ancak diğer yandan kovanın yüzey alanı da çok fazla. Yüzey alanını azaltmak için de daha ufak bir kova seçebilirsiniz. Ya da daha kuvvetli bir malzemesi olmalı. 20 lt lik boya kovaları bayağı kuvvetli sanıyorum.

@@GreenSaw evet ters. Süpürge vakum ucu üste, emiş ucu teğet(yan) olmalı. Emilen partiküller dairesel bir harekete zorlanıp elektrik süpürgesine kaçamadan (merkezkaç kuvveti sağolsun) alttaki kovaya düşmeli. Bu arada yanlış anlamayın gülmemi, alay eder gibi gülmedim. Olan biteni dürüstçe paylaşmışsınız çok hoşuma gitti. Kova olmayınca da daha iyisini yapmışsınız, elinize sağlık. Islak temizlik yapmayı denediniz mi?

@@yayser bağlantılar dediğiniz gibi, bunu nasıl ters olarak görüyorsunuz anlayamadım ! 09:56 da önce toz girişini siklona (yan deliğe) takıyorum daha sonra süpürgenin vakum bağlantısını yapıp o boruyu sikonun üst girişine takıyorum. Şu soru aklınıza geldi mi ? "Bu adam bu işlerle uğraşıyor, daha önce de benzerini yapmış, kullanmış beğenilmiş, ve seyrediliyor. Doğru yaptığını söylüyor. Niye ben aksini iddia ediyorum ? Böyle basit bir hatayı yayınlamakta neden ısrar etsin. Acaba yeterince dikkatli izlemiyor muyum ?"

Is it just me, or are you connecting the vacuum to the wrong port? Otherwise pretty cool vid. Oh, and metal can works better.

it's Just you "jt" ;-) cyclones separate particulate by centripetal force. Using the fact that the particulate has greater mass than the air it's suspended in. This allows the sawdust to slide down the sides while the air is drawn out through the centre. So the heavily loaded dust stream enters at the periphery of the cone and the vacuum is attached to the centre hoping "all" dust has been removed first.

yes, the vacuum hose is connected to the wrong port. The vacuum cleaner's hose should be connected to the central and vertical hole of the cyclone whereas the vacuuming hose should be connected to the other hole that is tangential to the cyclone's side. Hence the vacuumed particles are forced to follow the cyclone's wall which generates a centripetal force that prevents them from taking the shorter path direct to the vacuum cleaner.

Ciao io non so l'inglese ma io ho usato per il mio separatore ciclonico un barile di plastica per la conservazione degli alimenti sono blu con tappo nero con collare in acciaio con chiusura a scatto questo e il link ma è in Italia www.packservices.it/ penso che ci sia l'equivalente li dove abiti tu.
