No way around it: the only way, the only way, to 3D print a structure with a roof is to print it sideway and then physically turn it. Then, separately print the front and back and attach them, again by turning them sideway. A simple crane can lift a structure and turn it sideway. Also, this way, not need to prepare a flat foundation.

11:00 looks to be inspired by Richard Serra's Steel work. Also it looks like they haven't sorted out doors and windows quite yet. The amorphous blob look is an acquired taste.

Jarret is there any project management tool ( spreadsheet could be fine) for the construction industry. If you are working any of those tools you can c=make video on that too

imagine what a clever government could do with this.. constructing a 1000 units and allowing the engineers to play with diff designs. Nigeria and sub-saharan africa could really save cost by doing this in massive quantities

what's your thoughts on things like building from prints of plastic polymers filled with foam then cast in concrete? i think it's mostly used as building fasads and artsy fixtures (like signs and kiosks). think you'll cover any of that type of printing, or is that too far removed from your main goal/interest?

Awsome . Here’s an idea💡3D Print it with hempcrete and create 3D printed hemp plastic rafters and roofing panels. We can literally grow our economy out of the ground. When we stop using mined and Forest products, We the people Fund each other rather than funding those who claim to own all the resources. Let’s use 3-D printers on wooded lots leaving all the trees in place except for the actual footprint of the home, and aproach. With a waste burning toilet and water recyclers you would NOT need to dig in sewer and waterlines. Use a rain barrel catch system and around the footprint of the home digging geothermal air tubes to bring 53° air into the house with a in-line fan. Install wind and solar use all low-voltage lighting. A hemp pellet heater would heat the entire home. Voilà! you’re living off the grid. Hempcrete still uses a lime binder, It is lighter weight and ‘warmer’ to the touch. Hemp is legal to grow removes glyphosate from soil. Farmers Growing GMO can grow hemp to ‘clean up’ their soil from toxins. Hemp sequesters more carbon and produces more fiber acre for acre than 30 yr old trees and is ready for harvest in 3 to 4 months. Bonus. Seeds for round 2! It needs no pesticides or fertilizers.
