I've never seen rigid heddle looms called table looms. Table looms have shafts or harnesses. Rigid heddle looms can go on tables, but they're a very different category of loom than table looms.

Would it be fine if I use the ratchet system for my small 4 shaft loom I've working on? And a note for everyone who wants to make one of these, you can print more heddles and use longer wood if you want a bigger work area.

@@GoodandBasic I've been using a pin system, with a printed piece that has 4 through holes. It works, but it's not the best. I'll see if I can design my own ratchet later using my own style, now that I'll have a good physical example to base off of. Thank you.

Any examples of finished products? What is the shed size?

This is a rigid heddle not a table loom, table looms tend to have a swinging beater and usually 2+ shafts

I'm currently working on a much larger floor loom with a flying shuttle. But I may revisit larger sizes for this loom at some point. Not soon though. JB
