Jason Dunn speaks about colonizing the space and additive manufacturing in space. He is the President and Co-Founder at Made in Space, Inc.
"My life purpose is to help colonize the space frontier, because I sincerely believe that the future of humanity relies on our ability to transition to a multi-planet species." - Jason Dunn.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Setting aside the catholic view that exponential growth drives business, the underlying schema for this business proposition is rock solid. At 9:34 the graphic really tells the story - good work.

Where is the rest of the presentation? This literally cuts off mid-word before we get any details at all.

wow wow wow! I can imagine the possibilities! In sci-fiction, the Enterprise was built in orbiting structures called "Drydocks" Now imagine multiple 3D printers nozzles moving along a real-life drydock creating a ship for use in actual colonizing or exploration.

Remember the Replicator. Like a 3d printer only better.

This presentation could be tightened up by working towards the technology of 3D printing a bit earlier in the presentation. Dedicate 2 minutes towards definition of the problem, then lay out specifics of 3D printing in the next two, and then spend 11 minutes on applications and solutions. Discuss working the material printed either down to earth or to other orbits, logistics, and practical applications. IE one thing that can be made up there that is needed now, cheaper there than launched.

to start building a colony a way could be to send 3D printers and some robots to moon, they will make bricks for a "LEGO" style moon base ready for humans.

No need for robots. 4D printing will solve construction. Let the 3d printed materials construct themselves.
