It would be useful to see the objects scanned and then printed at the same scale side by side with the originals. That way it's easier to spot how much detail degradation is taking place. You could even scan an original, print copy same size, scan that copy, print at same size, scan that copy, etc. Would be interesting to see how long details could be preserved for.

You can get great results a digital camera and a free trial of software, to be honest, much better results than that creality scanner. I wish I could photo comment

Yeah right, after setting up a booth with expensive light equipment and taking like 100 pictures and hoping it will mech right. Ein't nobody have time for photogrametry. Lol.
