I ordered a different brand bow this past summer in prep for fall hunting, well they didn't send a string hehehe, funny until you hear what I paid for it. but another story for another day. I found him on FB, sent him a message on how to order it. Thanks for sharing this one with us sir . I hope you have a blessed week. I have this bow on its way to me right now. I wanted a lighter pull weight and finally found one. Gonna have to call this my Bat Bow. lol. BTW: the riser advertised as Dymondwood not Action Wood. Dymondwood is made of thin laminations fused under extreme pressure. Action Wood is merely laminated glued layers. Dymondwood is made of phenolic resin impregnated wood veneers that have been laminated and compressed. It serves as an excellent material for knifemaking due to its strength and stability. I’ve used Dymondwood to make the handles of my Nordic and full tang knives. Another plus is that dyes can be added to the resin for some gorgeous results. Special Note: Real Dymondwood is a proprietary product made in the USA so far as I know...and due to the fire that destroyed the manufacturing facility for Dymondwood, stock is extremely limited. I imagine the many Chinese bow handles out there is cloned. Or something.

Hi Greg, I currently have the Black Hunter long bow with 35lb and 55lb limbs, my Black Hunter doesn't like me to string walk at all. I thought maybe it was because of the short riser. My question to you is, do you think a person would be able to string walk with the new Stealth Hunter?
@3DArchery3 жыл бұрын
I string walk with my Black Hunter, I also only have a small crawl. The same for the Stealth Hunter. Have been told that shorter bows do not like or work well with string walking. I think that could be right is you have a large crawl. I don’t crawl past an inch on mine.
@LukeMcMullin3 жыл бұрын
@@3DArchery Thanks for that info, I was trying to walk more than an inch, and my arrow flight went crazy, maybe I will try smaller moves and see how my Black Hunter handles it. BTW. Do you still favor your Stealth Hunter?

@wessfulton6444 жыл бұрын
It sounds as if the "resistance" you're speaking of is in fact a bit of stacking in the new bow. If you were to measure it's draw weight at each inch of draw to your 30 inch anchor, I would bet you'd find the Stealth Hunter picks up a little more weight per inch towards the end of your draw than the Black Hunter does. Not necessarily a bad thing but probably what you're feeling. It looks like a nice bow and for a 30 pounder, impressively fast! Nice review.
@3DArchery4 жыл бұрын
Wess Fulton Well aware of what stacking is and how it feels. This is not stacking. The feeling starts from the very first second you start to pull the string.

Ryu Kage That’s why I’m not too keen on the Black Widow bows. Swear one of those bolts will fail and I’ll end up with a limb in my face.

Wouldn't one think it'd be bad for the bow this way? When you draw, you'd be pulling the bolts more toward the outward direction. If they're mounted how they usually are, you'd be pulling the bolts more toward the inward direction.
@3DArchery4 жыл бұрын
I don't see how it is any worse. With the mounting bolts of the on the front of the riser, all the stress is focused on the bolt. The nock end of the limb is being pulled away from the bolt. The bolt is on the other end of the limb, then you have the riser between the two. The riser is creating a "pivot", which places even more pressure on the bolt. Anyway, the design (bolts on the opposite side) has been along a long time and is a proven design.

@3DArchery3 жыл бұрын
By power, I take it you mean speed (Which are very different). I went by AMO standards, which is 8 GPI. It is a 30" arrow.
@Bogie7703 жыл бұрын
@@3DArchery I want it to calculate the GPP : the weight of the arrow in grains divide it by the bow power in lbs ..:)
@3DArchery3 жыл бұрын
@@Bogie770 I think there is a language difference. The weight is not the power. That is a different measurement. Power is how hard an arrow hits, which would be Joules, I believe.
@Bogie7703 жыл бұрын
@@3DArchery I meant the power of the bow, not the power of the arrow :) and the weight of the arrow :) the GPP is a raport between the weight of the arrow (in grains) and the power of the bow that you mention (34 lbs at 29 inch draw ) and i was asking the weight of the arrow (that you did not mention in the clip) so I can calculate the GPP (grain per pound) :)
@3DArchery3 жыл бұрын
@@Bogie770 Understood, The power of a bow is measured by how much energy is in the arrow at impact not by GPP. So when you ask me about the power of the bow, I'm looking at it from the accepted point of view by the AMO (Archery Manufacturers Association), hence the confusion.
