Jarett, your knowledge of construction 3D printing has grown exponentially. I really like this interview and if I had 3D drafting experience, I'd love to work with Jon and Emmanuel, but I'm still stuck in 2D, hahaha. I intend them much success in their endeavor and love their attitude about less expensive and easier to build. It's good to hear money isn't the end-all result. I had never heard of peristatltic pumps, so I researched and sent what I learned to our Purple Paradise Resort Tech Specialist, who among many things, has experience with 3D printers; and recommends using magnesium oxide for faster curing. Love the idea of Open-Source printers!!!

They are exactly right, $1 per kilo is too high for home building. That equates to about $1700 per yard, plus shipping cost and onsite mixing costs, so effectively well over $2k per yard. And to get through a rotor-stator pump it needs twice the cement (binder) of concrete. The Chinese "Greenprint" gantry has a second hopper that conveys truck-delivered concrete to the extrusion hopper.
