I've been using blender for over a decade and was the reason I started 3d printing for a few years now and it works great but I would highly recommend changing the from the default blender values to use mm or inches and then have an empty cube that's the size of your printer print volume works great so you don't have to scale it later in your slicer after and everything will be printed to the size you originally modeled it
@justvalentino12341 Жыл бұрын
How can u change the values to mm ????????????!??!??? Pls pls
@dudynator1 Жыл бұрын
Scene unit in scene tab if I remember right.
@LokiTrismegistus Жыл бұрын
Yes it's under scene properties the the drop down that says units and then change unit system to metric....google change blender units to metric if that didn't help

Change your unit scale! There's also a little arrow on the right side of the window that will tell you how big it is in the unit you have selected.

@Nobby765 ай бұрын
This video didnt really teach anything, other than export as STL. If you want a good blender tut look for the bowl of apples tutorial on youtube. I had been using the same brand of 3d app for over 20 years (lightwave 3d), and using that one apples tutorial i basically learned blender to the same skill level as the other app. In just 2 days.. It teaches you modelling, uv mapping, texturing, cloth physics, particle/hardbody physics, lighting and rendering..
