I had a cat who would always climb up in my face ONLY DURING RAINBOW ROAD and he died young from FIP. I've always called the 3DS version his song and getting a remix this year is amazing.

That one break at 0:53 just made a sweet segment more beautiful than ever.

A great theme to cap off the year, hopefully you had some sort of growth in you, maybe you became stronger emotionally, maybe you graduated, got promoted, patched things up with someone, finally got to do that thing you'd been holding off for a while. I personally got to beat some of my inner turmoil plaguing me for years, so hopefully you get to overcome whatever's plaguing you too.

I vote for this to be the official ending theme of 2022, which i consider to be one of the greatest years in gaming (ESPECIALLY if you’re a Nintendo fan) personally. Last year i bought like 2 games, but this year literally turned me into the consoomer meme. Can’t think of a better eay to end the year with this flawless remix

This has been my favorite Rainbow Road for over 10 years and seeing it in MK8 Deluxe genuinely made me tear up. Everything about it is so well done.

Honestly, I missed having to take advantage of the Glider from 7. That’s what makes Rock Rock Mountain and 3DS Rainbow Road stood out for me. Having to descend and then ascend to gain height.

In my humble opinion, 3DS Rainbow Road is the single best course in the entire game. Maybe even in the entire series in general, but to be far, I hadn't played all the MK games yet. But still. No course has ever given me more or a magical feeling than this course. It's fun, creative, and just magical. I wouldn't mind if this course was the last course of the booster course pass. Dare I say, it might have better to put this as the final course than Wii Rainbow Road (that course is still a banger, tho). I can't of a better course than this one. Easiest S-Tier of my life, and my pick for the best course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I just want everyone to be aware just how MONUMENTAL this moment is. 3DS Rainbow Road has only previously appeared in Mario Kart 7, Tour, and Smash for 3DS. This is it's FIRST appearance on an HD home console, this is HUGE!

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song that feels both fast and slow at the same time, and it fits the idea of racing through the cosmos perfectly somehow.

Perfect from top to bottom the best Rainbow Road & one of the best tracks in Mario Kart history has returned.

They combined Electrodrome with 3DS Rainbow Road, and yeah it’s incredible. Still not one of my personal favourite RR themes, but its still pretty spectacular.

Nintendo should just add the rest of the courses and all characters and battle courses and call it mario kart ultimate

This song is the only song I can say I have teared up to whilst simultaneously head bopping like crazy. It's an overly specific, but prestigious praise I give to what may be my favorite music track from Mario Kart 8, possibly of the whole series.

i've really come around on this version of the song. at first when i listened to it i felt it lost a lot of the charm, but honestly i love it now just as much as the original!

To me there’s a difference between the words Best and Favorite in this case. SNES Rainbow Road is the best because it has lots of speedrun potential and things can get pretty tight by the end of the race. But 3DS Rainbow Road is my favorite because it has great music, a nice track layout that takes you to the moon, and what I think defines a Rainbow Road track, the feeling of it being a send off to a Mario Kart Game. I’m so glad that Nintendo decided to bring this one back.

Why do I get 1980’s vibes from this

3ds Rainbow Road, or as I like to call it, Electrodrome (Rainbow). Not to be confused with Berlin Byways or Electrodrome (German Dubstep). Point is, I'm glad Nintendo went full synth for this song.

3DS and the Wii version are both tied to being my #1 favourite Rainbow Road courses of all time. So glad this made it into this wave and a great way to end off 2022!

I'm obsessed with this track. I play it every time, even now in Mario Kart 8. It's a childhood gem for me because I grew up with 7 (and Wii). I even say, "I own this track" when I'm playing with others 😂

The OG version although it’s pretty always made so calm to make me want to play this track, I like this more upbeat arrangement. Also a big fan of the little skip that does, it el adds it a little more of thrill. Too bad the front-running hides those details a little.

The original 3DS Rainbow Road theme from MK7 is much more emotional in my opinion, which I know is one reason everyone loves it (including myself), but I for one also really love and appreciate the electronic head-bopper that this remake is, because for once I can play through the track without tearing up...I can finally actually focus on the race! And this remake always gets me groovin' no matter how many times I listen to it. So yeah, both the original and this remake are amazing in their own ways in my opinion. 3DS RR is also my all-time favorite Rainbow Road track (no I am not nostalgia-blinded because I didn't get to play MK7 at all until the 3DS was basically dead, but the eshop closure hadn't been announced yet...that period of time...I literally got my (physical) copies of 7 and 8 Deluxe at the same time, and at the same store, true story), so back when Wave 3 was announced and I saw this track in the trailer, I legit cried from joy that it was being brought back. I'm so glad they ended both the first half of the BCP and the finale of the BCP with amazing Rainbow Road tracks!

They leaned into the EDM sound _hard_ for this and Berlin Byways. It looses some of the entrancing charm of the original, but this is still Rainbow Road, after all. You gotta go to the moon. Literally, in this case.
