At the start of the video the console logos made them think the bottom left version is the N64 when it’s actually the 3DS. It’s probably a editing error because at 0:52 the 3ds version goes back to the right when it should of been there from the start

more details doesn't mean better, lighting matters and sometimes less is just more also i can't state how much the bosses and save system have been nerfed

@@BobSB129 in terms of story and narration the 64 version objectively better but apart from that the remake wasn't that disastrous so honestly I'd say it depends on which version you played first and if you felt comfortable with it We don't need to fight cuz at the end of the day both version forgot to use the D-Pad for the masks

@@darainbaig7181 yeah the dpad thing is true that’s annoying. I played both and I love them both but I really didn’t notice anything different about the story but idk. Only thing that was worse was the Zora swimming, that was annoying on 3ds. But yeah I prefer 3ds bc of A STUPID INVISIBLE WALL IN THE 64 VERSION THAT BLOCKS A SECRET UNLESS YOU WALK IN A SPECIFIC AREA OF THE WALL. Yeah that always annoyed me probably too much lol

The 3Ds version was programmed with two screens in mind, which the switch doesn’t have, would be way more complicated to rework the 3Ds remake than just porting the n64 version

Because the Switch one is played via the Nintendo 64 Online Service. All games on that service are the originals and are being emulated. For them to bring the 3DS version to the Switch would require some porting work and maybe some graphics updates, and would not be on Nintendo 64 Online.
