Hi Nirinjan thank-you so much for this meditation. This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard! It chant it in my head and out loud all day! I can't help it its soooooooo intoxicating. And this is the most powerful meditation I have ever done. I immediately burst into a smile and it was like my whole face was bursting open with joy, like more than my physical face could handle, then I started to cry and all these tears poured out, then back to bursting with joy! Wow! Thanks!

Every time I play this my 6 month old son smiles and giggles as if someone is tickling him. How about that for motivation to keep up! Nirajan kaur ji, Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh. I wanted to share a fact, that many people are being misguided in the name of meditation and spirituality. I am not against any religion and their believe and rituals but when some thing is not happening right it should be pointed out or else it will get worst with time. Every religious path leads the believers to God. But every religion has certain set of beliefs and it should be followed undoubtedly, no human has power to bend it or to change it. There are guidelines which lead the whoever want to achieve to the God. And for that reason the God send his messengers to guide all who seek the true path. And there are many who misleads themselves for their own benefits and others follow them some times blindly cause they are completely unknown where they should go. The prophets come to rescue of such people who want to believe but are misguided or unknown. Meditation has certain colour in Sri Guru Granth Sahib's teaching, which has been trying to stop all who are caught in the ritual practices known as karam kaand. Meditation may help you to calm your senses but it does not lead you to true God instead person get entrapped in the chakraas due to many reasons. But it is only the true love for the God who is everything to the believer. And it is that true love that open all the path to Almighty as one enchant the name Vaheguru in its love. If you will read Gurbani from Guru Granth Sahib you will find many example which clearly tells that all these ritual practices are worthless unless you have true love. Saach keyhon sun leho sabhe, jIn prem kiyo tin hi Prabh paeyo Guru gobind Singh ji (Dasam Granth). And simran is like a tool which can help in building the foundation for the beginners. With the time there are many changes a practitioner experiences, it is four Lavvan that are read at the time of Sikh marriage ceremony and is actually the marriage of soul to God. Mother loves its child and so does the child to its mother they don't need chakraas for each other. It is the love that bound them. In last one very important thing, Vaheguru is a complte mantara, one has no need to add any other mantra before beginning. The mantra you begin with (Om .......gurdev) is not practiced in Sikhisam, it is Hindu vedic matra. Here I am not saying that Hindu mantra is wrong but if people start doing the things as they please then all the believes and teaching of prophet and the holy Granth will be become unimportant because someone has found way to make people follow him instead the teachings of holy Guru Granth Sahib. Respect all other paths and follow your own path. Sikh be Sikh, Hindu be Hindu that is what Guru Granth Sahib teachs.

Hi Harry, The 10 Guru's were not Hindu. They did not believe in being Hindu or Muslim. They believed in equality being both genders,all castes and religions. One reason Sikhism was formed was to diminish the caste system and idol worship which is different to Hindu's. I am not saying I am an expert into the religion but I would say that it is important to learn about who the Guru's were.

Do u know the Sikhi way of life ??? Our 10 Guru's were Hindus and died saving the Hindu Religion. Get your facts together. This is the truth of Sikhism and there is nothing wrong in Kundalini yoga if this can bring peacefulness, health and happiness to the one practicing it. Guru Gobindji is said to have done meditation in his previous life at the place where Gurdwara Hemkunt Saheb is currently situated. Think out of the box.

um... guroo is THE ONE who brings you from darkness to light. it's not something you can do yourself, you must follow the true guru, as sikh (student), to achieve that. it h as nothing to do with chakras or yogic posture. it has everything to do with vaheguroo naam simran (meditation/chanting of god's name). i'm happy to see yogis chanting vaheguroo. i only hope they understand that this naam simran is all that really matters. :)

people who do kundalini yoga always have nice skin....why is that?

Wa he gu ru is not what this person explains it to be. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji created or rather adopted this word or mantra. the name with which Waheguru or God was remembered in the past three ages is how this word is created. Wa = God was largely remembered by the shabad " Washisht" in the first age Satyug. He= comes from Hari and this is what God was remenbered by in the Dwapar Yuga Gu= Gobind was what was God remembered in Treta Yuga and this age, KALYUG , God is remebered by Ram So wa he gu ru is created from the names from the past Yugaas.

What this person is singing does sound good but this is not the prescribed method of doing SIMRAN. Simran must be done using Guru's mat or Wisdom. The vidhi in Gurbani Guru is swas gras simran and gurmantar is waheguru shabad. This here is not what we has humans have been ordained to do if you seek to meet akalpurakh sahib.

this is not kundalini yoga. Research about yogi bhajan, who cooked up such techniques in the name of yoga few decades ago!!! Sikhism is a separate religion and sikhs do not believe in kundalini yoga and such things.

Amandeep, u seem like a Sikh yourself but have u contributed anything to Sikhi ??!! Yogiji did to an extent that there are thousands of Goras people around the world who have become better Sikhs than Sikhs like YOU. And everything in this world moves with MONEY. Even you have to work to put food on the table. Shame on you for being prejudiced about someone who has done commendable job by bringing awareness to the West about Sikhism.
